Worst office I’ve ever experienced in my life, they never answer the phones and never take care of the cases they work. My sar7 took 5 months for them to approve and there was no change in the household, then tell me that they have to do the applications in order that they receive them as if their job is that hard.

Never in my life have I dealt with a welfare office that doesn’t actually help you when needed there support for documentation or homelessness you never get to speak to a work face to face to help review your case and get you whatever services possible to help with your needs and by there lack of help and the lack to care to emphasize with you do to your situation and provide the help and services you desperately need and they can 100% provide but choose not to simple becasue they can and aren’t willing to lhelp you asap regardless if it causes you and your family to miss opportunities such as getting into a home. It’s crazy that I can’t get an appointment day in person at there office that I have request it then wait for a call back that they cannot provide you with a date or time you will get that call just have to wait and wait amd cross your fingers that it’s sooner then later and hope your phone is next to because if you don’t answer the call to schedule a new appointment you must then request another appointment call back that schedule an appointment face-to-face at their office. Can’t get any emergency services to work your case woth an eligibility worker at their office. By far the worst social services office I ever experienced in my life. Help there is non existent and that is a huge part of there job to help you and get you the services that are available for you and your family.,,,no to mention the energy these people out off as if people coming in there needing help or services from them is a inconvenience on them I’ve never seen people be more rude and inconsiderate of others and there needs to say that they even do the bare minimum for families there would be to nice and untrue 100%

I've tried calling 2 times now, both times they left me on hold for at least 20 min then hung up on me. I'm doing school work on my computer so I tried to get some stuff done on my phone. I'll have to go down there which is no big deal. The problem is hanging up on someone and treating others like dirt.

I would give negative a million stars if I could. This place is a pathetic excuse for a social service office. They really could care less about the people they are supposed to serve. Especially when it comes to the well being of children. Recently my family had to face an unexpected and unforseen emergency, that resulted in my grandson having to come stay with me temporarily. As required by law I did what I am supposed to do, and reported it to the county that he was now in the home and needed to add him to my case. This was well over a week ago and although it does now show him as being on my case, his ebt status is still stuck as pending. I live on ssi and only receive $113 a month in ebt benefits and as I'm sure you can imagine, it has been impossible for me to buy enough food to last the entire month. I mean I could understand it more if he were an adult, but we're talking about a growing 12 year old boy who had just been through a pretty bad experience. And If being traumatized wasn't bad enough, you can add being hungry on top of it all. If you try calling to get some answers, it's useless because it is impossible to talk to a real live person. And you can forget about leaving a voice mail either because nobody ever returns your call. And if at that point you decide to just go in to the office to talk to someone you'll be shocked to see how unprofessional, rude and disrespectful the staff is. They were just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. One staff member was sitting backwards in her chair spinning around in a circle and staring up at the ceiling. To be honest it seemed like she may have been high on something. Absolutely deplorable. The state should seriously look into the way this office operates because it is clear that they could care less about doing their jobs or about the community they are supposed to serve. Especially the unfortunate children that have to live within it.

People in there definitely treat you as less than. They abuse power, withhold help and clearly don't care about people or their jobs. This is the laziest, worst office Ive ever witnessed
