A local recommended I check this out and I’m wondering if I looked homeless! This is an outdoor dump box where people leave their old or used junk for others to take. Skip it!!!

Got some nice boots, blanket, a dish, dog sweater, and socks. Would check on it every Thursday if I lived here (sign says it all gets removed every Friday). Mostly clothes and a few housewares. Wish we had one where I live. Super cool community resource.

Very cool concept and a special part of our town, especially if folks take care of it. Give and receive as needed, the free box usually delivers! Can get a bit messy and out of hand at times, best if we all pitch in to keep it clean.

"A Telluride Tradition" dating back to the 70's, the free box is a bit of the old Telluride, the small town that existed before the boom. The free box is a place for people to leave usable household goods, clothing, and other items for passersby to peruse, and take, if needed. Great stuff can show up here, especially around the end of the ski season.

The box's rules are simple. Always respect the box, take only what you'll use, and don't leave junk!
