As a parent in the school community, I needed a small and intimate environment for my kids to attend that could give them the attention only a small school can give. This school delivers. There is little wiggle room for misconduct as the smaller class sizes means more attention to each child. The middle school is where this school has its strength. There is only one teacher for each grade and small class sizes. That means increased attention to each child, whether the conduct is positive or negative. But this also means that my children, who would've attended a large middle school, won't slip through the cracks or won't feel like a stranger in the crowd. There are pros and cons to every school but the pros for this school far outweigh the cons.

We have been with TIA since day one. My oldest graduated middle school last year and had a good experience. My youngest continues at TIA and she loves it. We love the teachers and the staff. We’ve done both private and public school in the past, we are truly happy with the education our daughters have received thus far. The sense of community is felt throughout the school. Keep striving, soaring, and leading Falcons.

two weeks ago I went to pick up my son early from school and they couldn’t locate him. A first grader. They started looking for him all over school grounds and in the bathroom. Supposedly the teacher said she thought he went to the bathroom. He was not in there. They ended up calling the officers but right before he got there they found him. The speech pathologist took him out of class without his teacher noticing and at a different time than what he’s supposed to go. 1: how does a teacher not notice she’s missing one of her students. 2: how long before I showed up was he gone and she didn’t account for him. 3: why isn’ there communication between staff when removing a child. 4: during this ordeal no one told me they couldn’t locate my son until after the fact. To me that doesn’t sit right with me. Then the following day I was speaking to a parent about the situation and the principle comes up to me super hostile ”what are you talking about!?!” I answered, about my child’s incident. She then continued to tell me I’m not allowed to speak about the incident and to get off the campus. (Parents there that heard her say that) She told me we can agree to disagree about the incident because he was safe. Pretty much it doesn’t matter. The teacher hasn’t reached out to me or apologized and I’m sure it’s because the principal probably told her not to because of liability reasons.
This isnt the first incident from the school. But I definitely think this was the final straw for me.

Now, you see, the principal there is terrible, and for middle school they have 4 individual people teaching the entire middle school. The math teacher is absolutely horrid and is extremely rude to students, and the principal is just one word: Bad. The elementary school is decent, but this is a inside review from a actual student there. (went from elementary to middle school, still here. Really want to leave.)

As A student who goes to this school I can understand people who left the school because of the small environment but, just for the record most of the people who rote those negative reviews as students were just troublemakers who couldn't get away with what they were doing. If you are coming to the school for a good environment and education this is the school for you.
