Terra as a school is wonderful. Staff and Administration are helpful and wonderful to work with on day to day duties. The motorcycle program is great. Larry does a nice job working with students and the program. The maintenance department is always willing to help. Thanks again Terra for keeping the professional standard so high. Keep up the grand work.

The only thing I can say is good about the school is the close proximity of it to where I live. Other than that, they only offer class times for certain subjects on a limited basis making it very difficult to try to accomplish getting your degree in a timely manner if you are working full time. Also, if they cancel/drop one of your classes due to "not enough participants" and you have already started paying for that class you will be waiting for months to receive a refund of what you paid, but they definitely cash your check the very next day. They are trying to hard to be a University and not focusing on what made the school what it is.

Awesome place to go for truck driveing school. I got my CDL Training here through Trainco Trucking. It's a short 3 week program. Job and family services paid for everything

I am a student that went to this college because they promised transferring credits, but upon filling out and being accepted to a 4 year college I found out that all but 1 of my classes are below standards and will not be transferring therefore I say if you are going to go to a 4 year college, do not go to terra it will be cheap but inefficient use of your time as the classes will amount to a GPA but not into college credit.

Otherwise it is a beautiful campus, and the teachers are hit and miss between amazing and really into their job and well the exact opposite, where you are treated more like a part on a factory line they call a classroom, not that they are mean just go below and beyond the call of duty. But then again this college is cheap so the teachers aren't paid well and I don't blame them for their attitudes toward the job.

Poor.....................................................................................................................................They make it very difficult if you are a busy adult (no online or phone registration/deregistration for 1st time students). The tuition is low, but the headaches you will get from the college (applying, registering, high book fees, travel to the middle of no where) make it not worth the price. I have a 4 year Bachelor's Degree and work 40 hours a week in a professional job. I'm also working towards a 2nd Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems by taking evening/online/summer classes. I filled out a application, paid a application fee, and had it in 5 weeks before the start of classes. I was never sent a acceptance letter, phone call, or any information on registering for classes. I was never given a password to apply online. I called the Registration Office several times, but was met with a answering machine. My phone calls would be returned a day or more after I left them. They would leave voicemail messages while I was working. Eventually they told me I would have to get registered in person since I was a first time student. All first time students can only register in person even if you are only taking evening classes part time. I applied to Owens, North Central State, Marion Technical, and Terra for different computer information systems classes. North Central State and Marion Technical are way cheaper and you will be able to talk to a person over the phone. Owens College has the same quality classes for the same price with less hassles.

I started at Terra in January 2019 and currently still enrolled. At this time, I just want to finish and graduate. When I first met with Terra, my advisor was rather "pushy" which I'v dealt with before, no big deal. The thing that stood out though was that she had to tie her success's into every little thing, and not in a good way. She bragged more than she used the information to make me feel better about trusting her. Her tone, to me, implied that she knew more than I and I just need to do as she says. Something I couldn't quite understand though is how none of my credits from Stautzenberger College could transfer. There's quite a few classes I had to re-take because of it. How does nothing transfer from such a highly accredited school like Stautzenberger? Upon showing my schedule to my husband, who had also had scheduling problems at a different college prior, he pointed out some flaws. How was I being scheduled for classes that I hadn't taken the "pre-reqs" for yet? I was also being scheduled for classes during times that they weren't even available. I had also been told that I was looking to graduate Spring of 2020, possibly summer depending on internship and when I decided to do it but because there were classes that I couldn't take when I was scheduled for them, I actually wouldn't have graduated until Spring 2021. Then later finding out that there was a class I NEEDED to complete before even doing my internship, something I wasn't told about either until now. I reached out to this advisor and didn't receive an e-mail back until weeks later, after I sat down and completed my schedule MYSELF. I have half a dozen other students in 1 out of the 6 classes I'm taking that have had similar or exact problems with the same advisor.

Flash forward to financial aid. My paperwork was sitting in the "finished" pile while it was actually incomplete. This wasn't realized until I went to the financial aid office in person to find out why nothing was being posted so I could get my bill paid and schedule summer classes. They had been sitting there for weeks. Okay, frustrating but mistakes happen. However, the other morning, I woke up to an email from FAFSA that corrections have been made......on my schools behalf. I logged into my portal and see that the Pell Grants that have been listed for weeks now and that I was TOLD I was going to get (by the same gentleman who left my paperwork sitting unfinished for weeks) for summer and fall are no longer there and everything turned to un-subsidized loans. I reached out yet again (side note: getting quick responses from financial aid OR admissions when you have a problem is extremely difficult), to which I finally did get an e-mail back. In a real short sentence, he apologized, said he had made adjustments that was actually an error on his part, and went back in to adjust it, I should see my grants back up in a few days. Another email this morning, changes again, back into my portal, absolutely nothing has changed. 2019/2020 FAFSA was done, completed and filed, why go back in and make any changes period. Plus, where is the communication? I would love to understand what is going on with MY financial aid and MY classes but nobody seems to want to help and explain anything. I could very well not be entitled to any Pell Grant, but that needs to be communicated with me and told why it's changed even after I had already received them in an award letter. I am beyond tired of this run around. The stress and extra effort are completely unacceptable.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars vs 1 is the fact that unlike my last college, I feel MOST of these professors actually care about my education and me as a human.

Update: after a couple weeks of back and forth, the Pell Grants finally posted. However, an issue I was having with my online classes can't really be traced to anything specific. I was actually booted from one of three classes then had to be re-added, and almost booted from another but nobody seems to know why.

The worst Community college. My daughter takes two CCP classes. She has been told to stop ‘plagiarizing’ EVERYTHING. She is one to go above and beyond. The first assignment, she went to different website and her book to get answers. The teacher said No more or you’ll be reported to the college. A little harsh, but now she knows. Since then I have checked over every assignment and she shows me where she got her answer in the book. Another complaint he had was ‘This is dangerously close to being a copy paste from the book.’ Sir, you complain if we don’t use the book, now you complain we use the book? I’ve been told before that online teachers are douchey, and they are. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
