I have called many times every week for over a month now. No one ever answers. It's very dissapointing including they were the ones who missed my check up appointment for my daughter.
The last time I had to get ahold of someone from here it took me calling my town hall in hopes they could reach the new london office and they did. That was 100% luck that they knew someone in that office.
This place is horrible.

Hands down the quickest social service in CT. walked in, applied, provided the necessary paperwork and got 180 gallons in oil within 2 hours. Getting a refill was just as simple. Put a request in through the automated system and got my second delivery within 24 hours. Really a breath of fresh air compared to the other sh*t shows in CT that are part of the social services umbrella.

I have called this office over 15 times within weeks, and only 1 time the woman answered. I had to cancel my appt once and been trying to reschedule and no answer or call back, which is very unprofessional. I am pregnant and in need of wic right now. The woman tried saying before (that 1 time she actually answered), that she tried reaching me. Well it's funny how others can reach my number but she couldn't?! I seriously doubt she even tried!!!! IF YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR WIC, PLEASE DO.

I was getting help from a case manager and was getting help with applying for housing,food and applying for government phone to get a sweeping wireless phone. I got my phone and service and got on snap food stamps and also got information to where local food banks where located. All of a sudden my case manager left and I was never informed also she never really communicated with me when I called her and I am still on waiting lists for subsidized housing.
