The school and its instructors have a wealth of knowledge that goes beyond what your average dealer knows or does. Allyson and Chad are industry veterans who keep a measured pulse on the industry, as the industry’s needs always change, this is important. They and their instructors take pride in the work they do, and all they ask is you do the same. First and foremost, this is a customer service type job. You need to not only crawl out of your shell, but develop a thick skin. This is something the casino institute teaches you by training you.

Regular classes work under a schedule which ease you in. You won’t be overwhelmed but are expected to participate and take tests to reaffirm your knowledge. How long it takes at the school to complete depends solely on your dedication. The most difficult thing about this course is how much time and attention you put in it, coupled with your ability to listen.

The classes progress to include more and more games, and then the dynamics change to simulate the pressure from a real live game. Allyson and Chad care about their students and how they perform. If you want to be a dealer at a casino this is the place to go. Yes you can go to another school for a little less money but you get what you pay for. The training here is top of the line. They will teach you everything you need to know and more to start your new career as a casino dealer. Allyson works hard to get every single person a job, you'll even get to pick the casino you want to go to and she will prepare you for that casino and walk you through everything including the interviews. How easy can it get? Yes sometimes Allyson is hard on you but your representing her school, and if she puts you on blast don't take it personal, and if you do take things too personal maybe the casino industry isn't for you. I remember the first time I looked up this school I was still thinking if I wanted to try it out or not, I went over to Sycuan and talked to a blackjack dealer telling him that I was thinking of going to dealing school and he told me: Dont think, just go.. and its funny.. thats exactly what I did. and I love dealing. You can still go to college while you deal if you want and you will probably be making a lot more than anyone else.

The owner is the most greedy and rude person I have ever seen in my life she will harass you and talk to you like you are a 10 years old kid she have no respect for the students you can't even question something she will tell you to not talk back! all she cares about is getting your $$$$$! Getting you a job is the last thing she cares about! at first when you sign up she will be very nice to you once she gets the money and boom you're done. I was working a full time job and when My friend told me about the school I went there she seemed very nice person at first. she told me oh just sign up and I will get you a job an less than 3 months making 25$ an hour.
but if you want this job fast you better quit your job and attend the school full time so you can finish the course faster. I signed up and after 2 months I learned all the table games and when I asked her to get me a job she was like yeah I will send you next week but you need to take the roulette course too which is required (it wasn't required) so I paid her another 1000$ for the roulette course after I finished the roulette course she started making some stupid excuses to not send me in to the casino. The dealer job is easy but these guys will make it like it's the hardest job out there!
And another thing at first you will pay 2000$ for the table games course which is 3 months and after 3 months if you don't pass your audition (which you probably won't) because even if you're very good they will fail you to get 300$ from you which other schools give the audition for free even if you fail.

And yeah there is other schools in San Diego which their price is cheaper than this. I went to one in santee a new school which I didn't knew it exists before and they offered me a refreshing course for a cheap price to get the certificate.

i have friends that signed up and they regret it. So think twice before signing up with them especially if you're under 21 there is not a lot of casinos that will accept you so never think about it.

WEST COAST DEALING ACADEMY is the school where you want to go if you want to be a professional dealer. Allyson,Chad and Steve have great knowledge and experience. They are strick...in a good way because they want you acctualy to learn how to deal.I have been to school for three months and ...i just got a job in one of the casinos.Yayyy!!!
Thank you ALLYSON for telling me that i have acctualy an audition ..... I applied on line but i never got an answer.She was the one who told me that i have an audition and at what time.
Before i had my audition STEVE came in his day off (sunday) to get us ready ( me and some other students) .One more time Thank you ,Steve for that.
