I got accepted but never went to the place bcs I was unvaccinated. They only accept kids that are vaccinated. Now I had a religious exemption so I should have went their but they did not take me and I would have needed to be held down for shots and needles and they didn’t force shots on me so I didn’t go . I struggle with some mh problems I don’t have any disobilities tho ) But I know a few freinds 2/3 of them either have claimed to be abused or didn’t claim to be abused but u can tell due to physical marks .. It’s hard to say weather my friends were atchully being hit or were just held and in restraints idk cus some of them were trouble makers .. But this place neglected my health care needs so basically said ‘’well we can’t treat her for her mh problems bcs she don’t got vaccines like what ?! But when I did the interview with the staff in the phone most of them seemed nice but some I was iffy abt . I also have seen ligations abt the place regarding abuse . And all I’m gonna say is if u have a kid that dosent struggle with agression don’t send them cus they can’t stand up for themselves their . Pleas I don’t like why they have no photos it keeps the place a secret u can’t see nothing their yk what yk ig?!

Awful PRTF. Numerous state investigations while my child attended. Ultimately, I removed my child and after discharge he had to be admitted to the hospital for a week due to them prescribing him too much lithium (lithium toxicity) and not monitoring bloodwork.

Stayed there as a 13 year old boy back in 2000 for a couple years.
Long time ago, but Violence among the boys was common. Psychiatric staff tended towards their own biases.
Biggest baddest kids tend to rule the roost, youngest and most vulnerable were often targets, as in, you know, the ones not from "hoods".
Don't know what has changed since but if you are not confident your child is capable of physically "holding their own" they arent in for rehabilitation, they are in for abuse and further deepening of their issues down the road.

I have had good experiences all three times that my sons stayed there. The older son has to stay twice, the younger son once. They had good experiences there. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed a break from their child.

Don’t ever send your children here.. my daughter got threatened by a random girl who was angry she just arrived there, staff heard it all & placed them in rooms together after the fact the girl threatened to “kill her”. The Staff even threatened to put there hands on other girls.. my daughter ended up running away cause of how bad it was & the staff did NOTHING to try and stop her or make sure she was safe mind you there’s sexual predators who wait around there purposely knowing it’s a group home. At that she’s never been in that town in her life. It’s not close to home at all. Also when she left the girls went through her stuff took what they want, the staff allowed that & the girl who threatened to kill her cut the throat of this giant teddy bear her grandma got her and took all the stuffing out. The staff threw all her things not caring what broke into trash bags and returned the leftovers. A lot of things broken and missing. Never got reimbursed when it clearly states if anything happened like that she would. TERRIBLE PLACE.

I went there it was very good. My two fav.. Staff were Tracy Vigliotti and Tara Wilchynski. My therapist was named Ashley Bets. As a matter of fact I still want to get a job here when I am older. They try not to let the kids have a brawl. I was at Marcy/START Cottage.
