What an amazing place the Children’s Center is! We often say, “how did we get so lucky to get a spot in this incredible school?” The entire experience from enrolling to starting has been effortless and met with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Andrea is a hands on director who knows the children and families and always has an open door. The classroom teachers, Ms Kiki, Ms Kayla, and Ms Brenda are exceptional. My child is all smiles from ear to ear when we walk in every day. They are also wonderful and accessible throughout the day if you need anything. They are patient, kind, and loving with the children. The rooms are clean and stocked with age-appropriate materials. The art projects and music are wonderful. The children are fed top notch meals and snacks! We couldn’t be happier and more thankful that we are part of the Children’s Center family. We are so lucky. Don't hesitate to enroll your little human here!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Children’s Center of New Milford. Both of our sons have attended the center, and it has truly been a cornerstone of their early development. The teachers go above and beyond in every way—they are caring, attentive, and passionate about what they do. Even now, our oldest son still fondly talks about his teachers and the incredible experiences he had at the center.

Since the arrival of the new director, the center has only improved.The new programming she’s introduced has been a fantastic addition, enriching the learning environment and providing even more opportunities for growth and exploration.

We genuinely don’t know what we would do without the incredible “village” we’ve found here. The Children’s Center is more than a school—it’s a community of dedicated professionals and families who work together to give our children the best possible start in life. We are forever grateful!

We love the Children’s Center! When they called to let me know there was room for my kids I had actually forgotten I applied. I was torn taking them from another school where they had friends and were comfortable but it was one of the best decision I’ve made. They easily transitioned and made new friends and found so much more stability within their class structures and teachers. Having meals prepared there is so great for working moms AND they’ve added cooking classes for the kids with the school chef. (These are both my kids favorite activities.)

All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are well cared for, and it’s clear that they love what they do.

My child loves going to school each day, and obviously that is all you can ask for. However, there are many more wonderful things about The Children's Center... The teachers are friendly, upbeat, and you can tell they have the best interest of the children in their care. Healthy meals & snacks are provided and I love this because it helps my child to be more interested in trying new foods, as all of her peers are doing the same! Communication among the admin team, as well as parent/teacher is great; everyone is very responsive. Lastly, we really love the community involvement, and many walking trips to Green/Library/VCA that the kids are taken on, pretty much weekly!

My oldest son went here for 3 years, when we first moved to New Milford, and his experience was nothing short of amazing. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and the school grounds are so beautiful. He loved all the meals provided and he made so many close friends. The Children's Center prepared my son so well for kindergarten (e.g. could write his name and all the letters, knew simple math, all the sounds of the letters, structure of a classroom). They did cooking classes, yoga, music class, and activities around the green, including going to the library every Friday which was my son's favorite. I can not say enough good things about the 3 years he spent here, I could go on and on. Unfortunately the bus ride was too long (about 1 hour) for him to join the after school care but we are hoping to get him back in for the summer. We have had our toddler in the infant room for about a year now and everything is following suit to the experience we had with our oldest. He loves all the teachers, and I can tell just by the way he's so happy to see them when I drop him off. I would highly recommend the Children's Center.

Great professionalism also very patient they have a good well rounded system that helps the children learn many different skills such as Sports, Music & educational learning fundamentals. Very healthy meals good communication system for you to reach them at anytime also a kind & loving staff that caters to the children we’re blessed to have our daughter enrolled here.

I am incredibly pleased with our experience at the Children’s Center. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is not only professional but also genuinely caring and attentive to each child's needs.

My daughter has thrived in this nurturing environment. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to balance learning and play, fostering both her cognitive and social development. She comes home excited to share new things she has learned and eagerly looks forward to going to school each day. Communication with the teachers and administration has been excellent. They keep us well-informed about our daughter's progress and any upcoming events or activities.

Overall, the Children’s Center has exceeded our expectations in every way. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for our daughter to begin her educational journey. I highly recommend this preschool to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.
