Summer camp: children are not fed for breakfast, trips outside the camp are not interesting, there are no photos or videos of the trip , teachers are quite rude. I do not recommend.

Do not send your child here! I enrolled my fully potty-trained toddler in January 2023 and pulled her out by mid-March due to serious issues. The staff wasn’t taking her to the bathroom before nap time, causing daily accidents. Instead of helping, they put her in someone else’s underwear and a pull-up, setting her back in potty training.

The entire building reeks of urine, and the bathrooms are filthy—I’ve seen unflushed toilets and even poop on the floor. There’s also zero structured learning. My daughter brought home worksheets meant for cutting and gluing, but all they had her do was scribble. Staff turnover is high, and I was never given a teacher directory. The playground equipment is old and dirty.

This place is overpriced and unorganized. I moved my child to a cheaper school that actually teaches. Avoid this money grab! If your child can’t talk really avoid it. My daughter could fully talk and understand at 2 so that was a life saver.

Highly recommended!! This establishment not only greets you with open arms, they really seem to care about each child individually! It is so nice to have a place I feel 100% safe to leave my child and know they are really being taken care of even on my child's "misbehaving days!" The staffs communication on daily activities puts me at ease to know how she did each day.

I would definitely recommend this child care center. My daughter went there for VPK this year and she loved it Ms. Oddie is a really good teacher she's really good with the kids and they love her. I have no complaints, it's clean, staff is friendly, the food that they prepare for the kids always smell so good. There isn't much parking, but you get used to it.

Parents please beware. Bad comments are deleted and I have proof of this. My son was traumatized here and the whole facility is not teaching kids anything at any age.There’s a curriculum but it’s not used. The teachers of the class told me that the preschool children are only doing 30 minutes of learning daily. A teacher splashed water in my son’s face and said “how do you like that?” and nothing was done on top of several other things that literally left me in tears. I witnessed child abuse in the parking lot and the receptionist told me “it’s none of our business”. I’ve decided to take the legal route but I would be doing other parents a disservice by not posting this warning. If you care about your children’s education, Mental, emotional and physical well-being. Do not send them here. ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Discovery Tree is a wonderful facility. My child has blossomed there, and the staff is genuinely interested in the well being of your child. The communication with parents is top notch! I receive notifications through their parent app of how my child is doing through out the day. For example, I receive photos of my child with what they have just made, I am notified when they eat lunch, take a nap, wake up from that nap, if they have had an accident, etc. In addition to having their lesson plans posted next to the classroom, they also send notifications through the app for what your child is learning that week or day. This is so helpful, so that I can reinforce those skills at home.
I can't say enough about the administration and teachers that Discovery Tree employs. They are professional, courteous, and helpful. When I drop my child off in the morning, I feel at ease knowing my child is in great hands. If you are looking for a center near Oakleaf to send your child, this is the place for you!

Amara (my LO) and I recommend! She has been coming to this center for almost 2 years and has always been happy to grab her backpack on Monday and just in the car through the week to go to daycare. Every time I pick her up she is always playing. I get pictures almost every week of little arts and crafts that her and her teacher Miss. Lexi and Ms. Dana makes.

She loves this place so much that when I started her it wasn't until a year old because I was afraid of daycare but this place has proven to me that I can trust them with my newest who will be 8 weeks when he starts with them!

Miss. Mishae always greets my daughter by her name and Amara will get the biggest smile and when Amara is leaving she looks for Miss. Ramsey, if she isn't in her chair, to say goodbye to her.

I've come in many times right before nap time is over and (Amara doesn't like to sleep) Miss. Lexi / Ms. Dana will be holding her or soothing her with belly rubs while the other kids sleep peacefully.

I definitely recommend getting your own experience and giving them a chance because I honestly couldn't think of anywhere else I would want to take my child.

My kids have been coming here for a few years and we’ve had such a great experience. Everyone has been so nice and anytime that I’ve had a problem it has been handled quickly and correctly. My kids love it here! We are moving on to kindergarten and second grade but will still come here for non school days and breaks.
