Goddard Roseville is truly the best. Our son loves it and we love it knowing he's safe and happy when we drop his off! They are excellent communicators, have a very clean space, and fun/structured activities everyday planned for the little ones. We love getting pictures of our son every day and his teachers have been very kind and nurturing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch daycare/preschool to send their kids in the West Roseville area.

We've loved sending our daughter here since she turned 2. She has grown so much and every teacher knows her and adapts to her needs. She comes home with new crafts, friends, and has learned so much in this first year and we feel taken care of by the teachers and staff. We're excited to send her younger sister there in the fall!

This school is new and beautiful, and the front desk staff and owners are so kind to your face. However, I witnessed the following "behind the scenes" events, and I was so shocked that I reported them to management repeatedly until I was terminated one month later, with a 5-page letter summarizing all my complaints and painting me as the perpetrator. This was the most appalling and disturbing experience I have ever had, and I have 2 college degrees in Children and Education and almost 10 years of experience.
1. The infant and toddler rooms pat the children to sleep very harshly. When I told management, they said that licensing is fine with it. Which I know is illegal.
2. I've seen a particular infant teacher propping infant bottles in her armpit area so she can turn the rocking chair around and text while feeding an infant.
3. I have heard and seen teachers yelling at students and saying things like, "Will you stop crying already? You're fine!"
4. There is an animosity between some of the staff, and many staff are not welcoming to new teachers. Very little training is provided, and tenured teachers roll their eyes and do not speak kindly to untrained new staff. They tend to take this frustration out on the kiddos by raising their voices and losing their patience.
5. When diaper changes are occurring, if it is a poopy diaper, many of the teachers complain loudly in front of the students. I even heard one teacher say to another teacher, "I sear to god! If I have to change one more poopy diaper today, I'm letting them run around in their own feces until after nap!"
6. When staff confided things to me, I said, "Why don't you tell the admin team?" and they each responded with a similar phrase of "I don't want to lose my job" or "I'm afraid I'll get fired" or "They won't do anything." or "What's the point? Nothing will get better."
There were several more disturbing things I witnessed, including a child eloping from the building, and I asked the licensing specialist if this needs to be reported to state licensing, and he said yes. I asked him if he had received a report from the school, and he said there was nothing documented as far as he could see.
The most disturbing part is that, after a month of me bringing my concerns to management, they started telling me they're too busy to hear me out. I stopped going to them. When I started putting my head down and keeping my mouth shut, they called me into the office with three owners/admin--one in front of me, one to the side, and one slightly behind--to where I was physically surrounded. They did not use gentle tones with me, and I guess they got scared I was going to start going to licensing or a lawyer, so they sent me a letter of termination the very next day. They sent me a letter of termination the day after I called incensing and asked questions which was the same day they surrounded me in the office and tried to extract information from me.

I have a video of my record being clean, and I was never in trouble, only ever reporting it. Suddenly, the next day, there is miraculously 5 pages of complaints AGAINST me, even though the kids flock to me and many parents had already stated how impressed they were with me.

I'm sorry to say but Goddard Roseville is going to end up getting themselves in a bad situation one day. After reflecting on my experience there and checking out the dates of some of the things I experienced, I realized that I got pulled from a classroom and sent back to doing breaks the day after each medical appointment I went to. They way they treat the children behind parents' backs, the 4+ hours kids have to be outside each day, the empty room they use as a day-end "holding tank" with very few toys, the obvious employee discrimination and retaliation, and the blatant lies...I have never been more shocked that such a reputable name could sustain so much internal rot. I don't even know what to do. I'm completely shocked.
You have been warned.

Unbelievable what was experienced by my wife and I within only a span of two weeks. Staff is not equipped or trained for kids this small/young. Not recommended if you think your child may be special needs or may be a handful. Would not recommend.

For 2 years, Goddard has been a nurturing haven for our daughter. Ms. Nancy & Teacher Alex create magic with warmth, patience, & engaging activities. They explain everything so perfectly, sparking her curiosity & love for learning. Every concern, big or small, is addressed promptly. They even partnered with us through potty training! We're eternally grateful for their role in shaping our firstborn into the confident child she is today.

I absolutely adore this place, and my daughter feels the same way. She receives exceptional care and is consistently engaged in a variety of enriching experiences throughout the day. At just 2 years old, she can already count to ten and identify all 26 letters of the alphabet. Moreover, her time here has fostered remarkable empathy and compassion in her. Additionally, we love that they frequently organize events such as holiday concerts, which are incredibly charming.

We couldn't be happier with The Goddard School! Our child is thriving here. The teachers and staff care so much about the kids, and they're always available to answer questions and communicate about your child's needs. Everyone is so friendly, and we absolutely love the real-time updates and pictures that we get through their app. Our child is making so much progress socially and meeting all her milestones with the help of her teachers, Ms. Summer and Ms. Becca. They plan so many activities for the kids every day, and we feel like our child is always coming home with new art projects. Our child is always excited for daycare. We're so happy we found Goddard. I only wish we found it sooner!

I couldn’t be happier with Goddard School! The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The level of communication is incredible! It’s great to get a detailed daily class agenda along with the reasons for each activity and a picture of my kiddo. The curriculum seems very well rounded and super fun! I also love the safety of the facility, which makes me feel better leaving my little one.
