I recently took the Basic Pistol class and could not have asked for a better experience. Paul teaches the course, who is very knowledgeable, experienced and an excellent teacher. Preshie is also in the class teaching, who was also very experienced and knowledgeable. I never felt out of place and left the class feeling very confident in gun ownership. Paul let me try a few different guns, guided me through everything, and stepped back once he saw I was ready to be more independent. Preshie is wonderful with making everyone feel comfortable in the class as well. They are both very professional, communicative and friendly. I highly recommend their course and am so happy I found them. I will definitely be back for additional training. Happy shooting!

I thoroughly enjoyed this class from start to finish. Paul is a truly excellent and engaging instructor who obviously loves what he does and brings a superior wealth of experience and breadth of knowledge to the podium. Already in possession of my CCW from Colorado, I took this class knowing with certainty there was more to learn, and I wasn't disappointed. I couldn't recommend this class or Paul more highly.

Ladies Only Basic Pistol Class - July 2024
I had the best experience with Paul and Preshie in this class. I was in dire need of a solid refresher in the basics on which I could build and develop personal confidence with my firearm. I couldn't have dreamed of a more delightful pair, a more perfect team. They were knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging, and funny. I finished the class invigorated and inspired to learn more. I couldn't recommend them any more highly, and I'll be training with them more in the very near future!

One of the best dealers I’ve been to in Tucson. They seem to have every item I can’t find anywhere else. I worked with Mathew, he was super helpful and knowledgeable. He took time to educate me on all the questions I had. Other staff members also chimed in with info. It felt like I was being helped by consultants rather than salesmen. Always a 5 star experience, but extra kudos to Niko. He was super patient, friendly, and helpful when I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted for a competition pistol. I struggle to find the right fit for my small hands and he was there every step of the way with suggestions and allowing me to try the feel of pistols over and over. Bonus points for the suggestion on a better optic. Would definitely look for him again the next time I’m shopping. Not pushy or impatient. Keep up the great attitude and service!

I had a private handgun lesson today with Paul from The Hub, and the instruction was fantastic. Paul's extensive experience is evident. He is able to break down the fundamentals of correctly operating a gun in manageable and understandable terms helping build good habit patterns from the beginning. My friend and I had a great time with instructor Paul for our private handgun lesson! It was affordable and high quality! As first time handgun shooters, we were deciding between getting our lesson either in Las Vegas or in Tuscon, and after a lot of research, we ultimately decided to go with The Hub. The atmosphere is personal, and instructor Paul provided actionable feedback so that both my friend and I were able to hit the bullseye for our very first shot! We had plenty of practice and Paul was so kind that he allowed us to use his personal handgun for practice. During the 3 hour session, we each tried 3 guns and shot 50 rounds. Highly recommend this place for its professionalism and attention to details. Thank you, Paul!

Yesterday, I was fortunate to take the basic pistol fundamental foundation course with Paul Parks. Paul has over 20 years of firearms training. To begin, he quickly responded to emails, which made the signup process easy and smooth. The course itself was enjoyable. We started the class by discussing basic safety and the skills needed for marksmanship. To conclude the lesson, Paul took time out of his day to demonstrate how to take my Shadow Systems MR920 gun apart and clean/oil it properly for future use. I came out of this training seminar with a better appreciation and knowledge of firearms.

I can not say enough positive things about my overall experience at the hub. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for their clients. As someone newer to firearms, the team has been more than helpful in making recommendations, giving their opinions, and having everything I needed in stock.

I would highly recommend the Hub to anyone looking for an elite dealer, training center, and shooting range in the Tucson area.
