My girlfriend and I had a wonderful weekend getaway here. We had massages at the spa which were wonderful, our room was spacious, well appointed, and had a wonderful view of the lake. Dinner at the restaurant was convenient and relaxing. The following morning we had breakfast delivered to our room and were able to have a slow morning and take in the lake. At every step the service was attentive and friendly while not being overbearing. The price was absolutely commensurate with the service and the amenities we received and I never once felt that I had to pay extra for something silly.

Stayed at the Sturgeon Suite. Everything was wonderful but the only thing we didnt like was the timing of the breakfast. The earliest you can get breakfast is 830am and then it's not on time. We are early risers so we are up at 6 to 7. So we have already waited over an hour to two hours for the breakfast and then it was late. The morning we are trying to leave, it was very late and we had to pickup our son from the sitter. We ended up leaving before we got the breakfast and left hungry. My suggestion is to have a continental breakfast for the early risers as another option. I would have been happy with a bagel or muffin. All in all it was a great stay, nice room, nice location and great experience at the spa.

I booked the Besties package for myself and two friends to celebrate their milestone birthdays. The price is very reasonable in the off-season and the package offers a lot. We received a one night stay in the cottages, wine flights, cheese board, a bottle of champagne, snacks in the room, and dinner vouchers at the onsite restaurant. I also got a birthday cake added on, which was super nice. The cottages are spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need. The Crosswinds restaurant on site has very delicious food and we all enjoyed it. I will say the advertising is a bit misleading. The cottages do not offer a view of the lake, but rather the parking lot. It was fine since it was the winter and got super dark early anyway, but that was still a little disappointing nonetheless. I would recommend a room in the resort that actually does overlook the lake. They also deliver breakfast baskets to you in the morning and the food is super fresh and delicious. I would certainly come again in the future, it’s a cute resort and very quiet.

My husband booked a romantic getaway for our first anniversary and we were excited and looking forward for the trip but we were left utterly disappointed. The room looked fine as we entered inside but as we explored the kitchen, there were no pans and pots or anything to cook but they have mentioned it's a fully equipped kitchen. Not even a dish scrubber to wash dishes. The room had multiple spiders and insects crawling out of nowhere and we spent most of our time trying to kill them. The bed was pretty small and creaky and wasn't enough for 2 to sleep comfortably. The breakfast we had was okay. The romantic arrangements made by them were good. That was the only good thing about the place. We had a 2 night stay but unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night as the place was nothing like it was pictured on the website. The biggest disappointment was the view and the lake which looked like a gutter but nothing like a lake. So basically the photos were faked and photoshopped. We were charged 1300 for a two night stay which basically became 1 night and our money was totally wasted. We felt like we were conned and we had no option to cancel as the cancellation policy asks you to cancel 14 days prior to the date for a refund. We regret booking this place and would never recommend anyone to go and waste a huge amount of money on this. Not worth it!

My husband & I have been staying here for years and always have a wonderful time! Most recently we stayed in one of the cottages, and the newly renovated bathrooms are very nice! It was much needed! I would appreciate some window coverings in the sitting area/kitchen though. I think maybe it’s also time for some new furnishings (sofa, chair, ottoman, king sized mattress), but it certainly did not detract from the comfortable lodging. They no longer provide a “welcome gift”, but I understand that this is most likely a cost-cutting measure in these days. All of the staff are really nice!! Special shout-out to Patrick behind the front desk- we always enjoy seeing him and chatting! He does a great job! The land-scaping and patio areas are always so lovely and well tended. We do miss the outdoor wine bar and patio seating, as that was always so nice to sit outside for lunch. We always meet some really nice guests there too. The only thing we really do NOT like is their new reservation policy (paying the entire balance upfront and a VERY stringent cancellation policy). Going forward we will only book on a “last minute basis”, instead of booking a year out as we previously had always done. Regardless, the Lakehouse Inn is one of our favorite places to take in the gorgeous Lake Erie views.

This was a wonderful get away! The property was beautiful with many places to sit out and enjoy the lake, the sunset, a glass of wine. Patrick at the front desk was very accommodating, even letting me store a cake I needed refrigerated. Crosswinds dinner was excellent. I had perfectly crusted fresh walleye, my husband had the whiskey peppercorn sirloin. The breakfast was wonderful! We sat out by the lake and enjoyed our breakfast. The room and bathroom in the house were a bit small, but we were there to be outside. The cookies and chocolate we received upon check in were delicious, and local. If you don’t want honky took, stay at the Lakehouse inn!

Lakehouse Resort Inn experience was wonderful. My friend and I stayed in cabin 3 and it was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The package included snacks and champagne (even provided the appropriate glasses) which was really nice. We drove into town but unfortunately not much going on. We later learned everything is closed until after Mother's Day. We enjoyed the drive looking at the houses on the lake. We thought we were transported to New England! We returned for a wine flight and meat/cheese board at the Crosswinds restaurant on property. Very delightful! We both enjoyed dinner and the food was so fresh. In the morning they delivered our basket with breakfast and we just lounged around and enjoyed a fresh pot of coffee. We retreated to the spa where we got the 60 minute relaxation massage. Best massage I've had I think ever! We will definitely return! We also enjoyed the local wineries on our way out of Lake Geneva. So fun!

My husband and I stayed one night here for our anniversary. We stayed in king room #1. Everything was absolutely perfect. The entire property, as well as our room, was immaculate. The man at the front desk was friendly and greeted us upon arrival.

When we entered our room, it had some charming touches to make us feel welcome. We dined at Crosswinds Grille, located right on the property. The service and food was wonderful.

In the morning, a delicious breakfast was delivered to the room. I enjoyed a relaxing breakfast in bed.

This property is right on the lake. I bet it is just gorgeous in the summer. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.
