We’ve had our eldest son in the center for 10 months and our new born there for 5 months. Like other reviewers, we’ve been saddened by the large level of turn over of staff and directors over that period. And we agree that the communication from the franchise management team has left something to be desired, especially when they let go of Beth. This being said, many centers are facing challenges with turn over of staff and many of the complaints in reviews can be said of any daycare facility. What I want to foreground here though, is that Joane and Chantel are doing an amazing job. They bring such a positive energy and vibe to the center. Their professionalism and hands-on engagement with all the centers kids is exceptional. They go above and beyond. I am also very happy with our eldest’s teacher, Ms Taylor, who is preparing our son (and others in preschool) really well for kindergarten. Attention to phonics, the alphabet, understanding the construction of books, imaginative play, social and emotional development is all very strong. And for our youngest, Ms Nancy, Ms Heidi, and Ms Stacey are incredible. They are very attentive to the individual needs of each infant and support these initial learning steps in a way that supports how we are raising our child (specifically for us in the way we are trying to sleep train our youngest and our specific feeding schedule and approach to solids). If you’re still reading my waffle, then I want to share that we had our eldest at another daycare and we saw how teacher turn over can really harm child development, given TLE’s turnover and comparing it to our prior experience, I can say that, in our option, TLE has done an excellent job of caring for our children and helping them through the transitions. I heartily recommend TLE for both infant and for preschool and I’m sure their other developmental stages are equally as good.

Upon enrolling my 13-month-old child, I had high expectations for this facility. Unfortunately, my hopes were not met. My daughter sustained multiple injuries, including frequent bite marks and scratches, on a weekly basis. On one particular occasion, my husband observed a significant scratch on her nose, of which we had not been previously informed. This incident served as a tipping point, prompting us to withdraw our child from the program. Unfortunately for us we payed a month's fee in advance and the facility has refused to issue a refund due to our inability to provide two weeks' notice. While I hope for future improvements at this establishment, I am currently pursuing a refund for the advanced payment.

We went with this facility before they even open up. We loved what they were offering. They fell short so bad. In less than year we had 3 Center Directors. They are now on their 4th Assistant Center Director. Staff are extremely unreliable. The few staff that are good are leaving.

We have had issues with them not documenting like they promised or sending photos as they should be. We have had issues with our child constantly having nasty diaper rashes because staff are rough or he is staying in a dirty diaper to long. Our concerns about this was never addressed. We had constant issues of our supplies going missing or our things being out in other kids bins yet our stuff was clearly labeled.

Towards the end we lost a great teacher because the Center Director decided it was "funny" to tell this staff to go back to her home country. This was reported and I am so sad with how everything was handled. With the incident with the Center Director making the comment she did to staff was the final straw and why we pulled our child.

Other parents have had reports of their children getting hurt with no one knowing how it happened as well. They have two staff in the room and cameras but it is useless because it's live feed so they can't go back to see what happened and the when they write up the report it's not even accurate.

Over all this facility was the biggest disappointment with everything we have experienced with our son or have seen.

My daughter, 3, has been going to TLE for 10 months and loves it. She get so excited every time we tell her that she's going to school. She loves her teachers and has learned so much since enrolling.

Review for 3.5 yr old.

If I could give tle 5+ stars I would. Our son was in a small at home daycare and we were worried about his transition but the team at tle and teachers were so wonderful and he did great.

Each of the teachers brings their own amazing talents and with the great curriculum it is a thrill to see our son grow.

If there is ever a time where our son is having a day unlike others they always notify us and help to make him comfortable. They listen to any ideas my husband and I may have and our son has been thriving. The events they hold outside the school week are also so wonderful and such a great addition to the community.

“I just wanted to take a moment and say how incredible The Learning Experience is, especially the director Beth. My wife and I recently had a horrible daycare experience and in a frantic effort to find another school I called the wrong one. Beth talked to us for over 30 minutes this evening, helped ease our nerves, Got all the information for a school in our area and even provided us with her information so we could reach out if we don’t get a hold of anyone. Although we wish we were closer to Cheshire, we wanted to just say thank you! It speaks a lot about this company!”

Review for a 1 1/2 year old Toddler

Place has potential, but we are beyond disappointed so far. We signed our daughter up a few months ago with high hopes and big promises, which is why we chose to drive 30 minutes to bring her here. However, as months have passed, it seems they can’t get it right: there's a constant change of teachers, drop-off with one, pick-up with another, starting in one class then moving to another, and mid-day switches of teachers.

We ask for minimal follow-up because we see inconsistencies between the app updates and what we observe when speaking to different teachers and at pick-up. Today was the last straw, prompting us to write this review. We picked her up, and she had a cellphone in her hand watching a movie (she is 1 1/2 years old, and we don’t allow screen time at home) – a HUGE disappointment. She also had poop on her pants and a dirty diaper, which my wife had to change in the parking lot before driving home. Additionally, she had a bad diaper rash, whereas she had no signs of one when she left this morning.

We hope they can get things figured out soon.
