I highly recommend the Long Island Tutoring Company to prepare your child for the SAT. My son worked with their private tutors, and with their help was able to achieve a score exceeding the 90th percentile on the December 2024 exam. This company is so easy to work with. Mr Ross was quick to respond to my phone calls and text messages. They offered flexible options for my son’s ever changing schedule. I appreciate not being locked into a tutoring package. The tutors quickly identified the areas they needed to work on with him and customized the sessions accordingly. It was time well spent. I will certainly be reaching out to them again when it is time for my next child to prepare for the exam.

Tutoring a teenager is all about connection. Ross and Diana really take the time to know their clients, understand their goals and concerns, then develop a plan to address them.

In our case, this meant weekly supplemental verbal tutoring virtually over the summer before we pivot to something more robust in the fall.

Diana is the absolute best!! She is so helpful and one of the best tutors I’ve worked with. She gives amazing tips and tricks on how to improve your score on the SAT, and teaches you in a way that makes it fun! For such a stressful time in my own and most students lives, someone like Diana is what everyone needs. She is so kind and encouraging when helping with the SAT practice as well.
