We started attending this church in 2015. We moved away 2019-2022, lived in two different states and attended three different churches during that time period. When we had the opportunity to move back to California we didn’t have any other church in mind to attend other than The River. The teaching is very deep and theologically sound. There has been opportunities to build community with fellow believers. Our children love the Children’s Church on Sunday mornings.

The river church has given our family great friends and so opportunities to grown in our faith! Our girls love being involved in youth group. I love getting to know other ladies in Bible study. Being a part of the River has given us the church family we need❤️

We love The River because it’s been a wonderful spot for our family to get connected and grow closer to the Lord. From children’s ministry to community groups and regular family events, there are so many ways to build relationships here. I began attending The River Christian Community in 2017. I had recently moved to Oakdale and was just beginning my walk with the Lord. My church attendance record had been sparse. Knowing I would be attending on my own with my three children I wanted a place with children's classes and an opportunity to build community in a new town. What I found at TRCC was a FAMILY of believers. A leadership team who are dedicated to following Christ and leading others to Him. A group of people who make it a priority to love others well. Staff and members making an effort to walk alongside you as you grow in faith, go through hard times and celebrate good times. My children and myself have been loved well at The River....as we are. Come and see.

One of the few churches we got to attend twice on our cross country tour. Such a precious community who invests and serves missionally to reach the surrounding community. Greatly appreciate the preaching and worship and the ways the staff poured into our kids the two weeks we were there. Plenty of RV street parking for our 40’ RV and toad. Could even park a semi on the street a block away if a truck driver wanted church. Excellent non-denominational church in Oakdale California.

The Pastors speak with great knowledge of the Bible and worship is contemporary. Great programs for children of all ages. This is more than a church, it’s a welcoming community filled with the love of Jesus.
