A great place to visit if you have interest in learning about rocks and minerals, geology, gems, or lapidary. They have an open house once monthly where members sell what they've made and feature an educational speaker at the monthly meeting, too.

The instructors are always happy to show you how to take a raw rock and use the tools in the back to turn it into beautiful pieces of art. As a non-profit educational organization the cost is very small to explore this hobby. Grinding rocks into art is the perfect balance to a long week in front of a computer monitor.

This is a great club for people interested in rocks, fossils and minerals. They offer classes in lapidary, lost wax casting, intarsia, carving, beading and general meetings the first Friday of every month
