My daughter attended tutoring sessions with Kate for just over a month and I could say that she’s really benefited from it. She has improved a lot and got more merits with her analysis homework as this was where she has been struggling the most.
Apart from being a very good and effective tutor, Kate is a very kind and honest person as well - she won’t waste your money if she sees that your child is well capable and doing well for their age, as is the case for my daughter.
My daughter was gutted as she likes Kate, she said, “Kate has always been very kind to me, taught me tricks and gave feedback to my work which I shall remember and improve”.

Kate has somehow managed to encourage my son to such an extent that he is now thinking of studying English for A level. Kate’s expertise led him through his GCSE English Language and English Literature so that he felt confident about what was expected of him in each section of each paper. Her enthusiasm has led him to appreciate English as a subject. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate as a tutor.

She has been working with my son for approx 2 years whilst he’s been preparing for his GCSE’s. Kate has worked with him to find ways to engage him that he felt comfortable with, being flexible, patient and always with his well-being at the heart of her support. She has found ways to embrace his dyslexia and he has always found her sessions helpful and has given him much needed skills, tools and confidence for his exams. From my perspective she’s been approachable, inclusive and proactively communicative. We couldn’t ask for anything else from her and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kate.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate as a tutor. I have been really impressed at how she has helped my son with his GCSE preparation and revision. She was able to engage him from the start ( not any easy task with a reluctant 16 year old, who had been in lockdown) and encouraged him achieve his potential. Communication has always been excellent - timely and professional. What I particularly liked is that Kate seemed to genuinely care about my son and took time to get to know him. She is a great tutor!

Kate started tutoring my 16 year old son for his GCSE's in October. He has processing difficulties but Kate understood his needs and quickly developed a rapport with him. After such a difficult year Kate has been a stable and constant support.
My son has matured in confidence especially with reading. Although a confident reader he has never really taken to reading regularly, mainly because he didn't find a book he was able to get into. Kate is a fantastic teacher who is able to recognise what might spark a students interest and supplied us with a steady steam of great literature.
I'm absolutely delighted! My son is now a regular and enthusiastic reader. We have Kate to thank for that.

My son had gone into panic mode about his revision. He had one session to help him with revision techniques and organisation skills which he could apply to all his subjects. He came out of the session a different child and has since worked hard and got through all his exams in relative calm. We will be booking another session where Kate will help him organise a revision schedule for his GCSEs. I couldn't be happier with Kate's input and would recommend her to anyone!
