Attended a wedding last weekend and had a great time! Great food & perfect portion. Not too much so none went to waste, yet big enough to comfortably fill me. Drinks were outstanding too! The bartender was beyond kind!! He was awesome and made great drinks, and shared his candy with me. 😂💙 Easy on and off the highway as far as location goes as well.

The Wooodwinds was an absolutely perfect venue for our February 2025 wedding!!! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff that we worked with were fantastic throughout the entire process! Not to mention that the price compared to every other venue in Connecticut that we looked at was unbeatable! Even though the price was reasonable, that didn’t take away from the quality of the food, ballroom, and quality of service! The staff made all of our wedding dreams come true and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! They made us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire planning process!!!!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Woodwinds and it was an amazing experience. From the initial meeting to the planning process and to the day of. Everything was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting to celebrate. Our guests were raving about the venue, the staff, and THE FOOD!! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The decor was displayed better than I imagined. Sergio and Kaitlyn were phenomenal, and we were so grateful they were able to make some last-minute accommodations for us.

I had the most amazing experience at the woodwinds for my September 29th wedding. Everything was so perfect and went by so smoothly because of my coordinator Sergio and my amazing bridal attendant Jamila. Idk what I would have done without them. Especially when I was freaking out about it starting to rain before my ceremony started.

The Woodwinds couldn't have been more perfect. From the initial venue finding process to the day of the wedding, everything was great. The venue was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The staff at the woodwinds goes above and beyond to make sure the day is perfect. Michael was great with the many questions and changes I had throughout. The day of was just as great, Sergio was on top of everything and was sure to make the night go smoothly. It was also great that he reminded us to eat since it can be crazy making sure you see all your guests. My bridal attendant was also fantastic, making sure I had a drink and was there whenever I needed her. The wait staff was great, food was amazing and our guests enjoyed everything. Look no further because this is the venue and staff you want for your wedding day!

We hired Woodwinds to cater my baby shower at Nuzzo’s farm and I don’t think we could have found a better place! The food was next level, and so was the staff. We walked in to set up and not one person stopped until it looked perfect. There wasn’t one bump in the road, and if there was it wasn’t made noticeable! They made this experience next level and I couldn’t tell you how many people went up for seconds. We didn’t have to lift a finger with any of it between the food and setting up. I will absolutely be using them for my events in the future and I know quite a lot of my guests will be too! I couldn’t thank the whole staff enough for making my day so so perfect.

We literally kept saying, “They have weddings and events down to a science!” — which they do!

The entire wedding planning experience to the actual day was incredibly organized and handled with the utmost care

I’m a project manager and details are my thing and it was such a Godsend to be able to relax and fully trust their team to see the details like we do!

Michael our event coordinator responded fast and intentionally to our questions and was so on top of it all. He made us feel relaxed in the wedding planning process and truly taken care of.

Emily my bridal attendant made my now husband and I feel like celebrities on our wedding day and was so incredibly kind and comforting throughout the entire day

Sergio is a master at presentation and was our tour guide throughout the day we got to enjoy our day and he handled every detail and kept watch on our timeline for us. That was such a gift to be able to be fully present on your wedding day and not have to think, “Oh the bouquet toss is coming up let me keep an eye on the clock”

The general manager during our rehearsal was so funny and had my entire wedding party laughing and at ease

If you are looking to be fully present on your wedding day and have your guests say, “You had a perfect wedding!” (Which I got multiple texts the next day saying so — the food, open bar, dj setup, everything was on point) then you want to go with The Woodwinds. I toured plenty of venues in Connecticut and it’s truly the best deal you’ll find in the entire state.

I loved returning to The Woodwinds for James & Jennifer's wedding a few weeks ago. The grounds are amazing for creative portraits over by the fountain and small gazebo and the beautiful weeping willow. The staff are amazing and super helpful in making the day go as smoothly as possible, I can't wait to return for the next wedding!
