This little museum is packed with lots of history. Talia is an amazing host!! I love listening to the holocaust survivors sharing of their personal experiences. The movie that follows seems to always go with the survivors' experience..it just makes its easier to picture it in my mind...I'm a visual learner!!🙂

Such a great place! Learn soo much more about what happened in the Holocaust. Leo story was so great. But the ending of them coming to United States was a little funny! He such a good person. But the movie they showed us was inspiration and emotional.
I would love to go again and hear more stories about the survivors of the Holocaust.

A very important place for people to visit. Many historical and events that happened to many different groups having to do with tolerance and segregation. There are lecturers, there are events where are movies are viewed , and the directors talk about how and what they're about after the movie has been shown. There are many exhibits about the Holocaust and several wonderful libraries to look at about many different prejudice and segregationist events that happened throughout history.

I loved this education center so much. I went on a field trip to this Tolerance Education Center and the Holocaust survivor was so sweet. The tour guide was also so sweet. I wish I could do community service in my second semester of high school for this education center.

The center is a jewel in the desert. The center are very considerate and knowledgeable. We need a place in every town and city that focuses on tolerance. The center pays for the buses that bring children. Talia, the Director of Education, is a wonderful tour guide.

Apart from the director, Mrs. Talia, telling the children of a class field trip and my children that there are 3 types of people/races in the world. I appreciated the kind gesture to join the class trip at the I me of our visit in Tues December 5, 2017, while I have my children a history field trip of our own.

I spoke to her after she had given the tour and placed everyone on a break before resuming a movie in the theater area. I explained to her that her view on races was erroneous and telling the children that there was 3 different race would confuse them in years to come, since there is in fact only one race:the human race. She then said that scientists agree that there are 3 races. I said that may be true but, that was a theory; that she being anthropologist understand that it is known that humans were recorded to be first in the "fertile crescent" then migrate throughout the world from that area. Thus, showing that all humans came from the same origin and having no difference genetically. Mrs. Talia agreed with what I was saying and said that she would correct what she had said earlier during her tour/speech. Also, my eldest daughter informed the director that she felt uncomfortable of her calling people of dark pigment "black", since they were in fact brown. She apologized.

I had to take my younger child to the restroom and was not sure if the director ever did correct the erroneous information to the children. My older child said she did not. Gaining this information saddened me.

I took my children to this museum because of the name and the theme of the museum. The subtle reference of race classification, and the director telling children that the theory of race was a fact, disuaded me from wanting to return to this museum despite the great information, artifacts, library, and, art displays. There are other places I can use to entertain my children and educate them regarding the holocaust.l

Nice displays in this small museum include an "identity" display by the local community, prison camp uniforms, "dolls of liberty" display, and numerous large aerial photos of prison camps, but when it came time to attend the program, my service dog was not allowed to remain in the theater of this "Tolerance" museum, ironically, so I could not attend either, since she would not leave my side, so we were both "expelled" to the lobby for a couple of hours.
