For my first two driving lessons, I had Joe as my first driving instructor. He gave a great introduction about the basics and fundamentals about driving, and wasn’t hesitant about critiquing my flaws in my driving. On my last driving lesson, Michael gave a very through and in-depth final recap on the rules of the road, vehicle safety/controls, and the essentials to driving. It was a great experience to have before I take my driver’s test. Would definitely recommend them as driving instructors! 10/5

I had a great experience using Top Notch Driving for my drivers training! Between my 3 lessons I had 2 different instructors: Teri and Joe. Teri was my instructor for the first and last lessons and I was extremely happy with her approach to teaching. She was fun, attentive, knowledgable, and I feel she taught me everything I will need to know for my upcoming driving test. Joe was also a great instructor who did a great job of showing me how to drive defensively and gave great tips on passing the test and remembering the hand signals. Thank you Top Notch Driving, Teri, & Joe for teaching me all that you have. On to the test!

5 STARS, 100% Satisfaction guaranteed! I can honestly say that if I didn't opt for Top Notch Driving School--I would not have been appropriately prepared for my driving test. My instructor Cassandra gave me the reassurance, feedback, and positivity I needed. 2 lessons was all I needed to gain confidence driving , and each lesson was 2 hours--, packed with an abundance of knowledge and on-the-wheel training. The best thing was the preparation in advance--they teach you everything you need to know for the DMV driving test, what you will be graded on, tested on, what to expect, basically they prepare you like none other! I had all the paperwork with tips, training and pointers for everything. I am so grateful for this driving school and for my instructor Cassandra! she was truly so sweet, and yet so professional. Thank you again, I have my CA License!! Excellent experience, highly recommend!

I had never driven in all of my 24 years of life before I booked lessons with Top Notch Driving School and I was beyond terrified, but my instructor was great! He really calmed my nerves and gave me a lot of confidence by rarely ever using the brakes on his side and trusting me with the car. He was easygoing, funny, and explained things really simply, and it all made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this school!

I just took my road test for the first time and passed it! Thanks to my driving instructor Joe who patiently taught me how to improve my driving. It was very helpful learning the fundamentals of driving and expectations when taking the test. Had a great experience with top notch driving school in Santa Maria. Kudos to them!

Just as the name says...it’s truly a Top Notch driving school. My daughter had the same awesome instructor all 3 times & he was great with her. She just took her driving test & passed on the 1st try. Thank you Michael for being such a great instructor. 5 stars all the way!!!!!?

Michael was my instructor and it was a great experience. He taught me many things about how to pass my test and has really showed me how to drive. I would recommend him to any person that needs an instructor

In the beginning, I was very scared of driving and didn’t know much at all. Instructor Joe really helped me significantly I came from not being able to do simple things to being able into a safe and much skilled driver than I was before. I have learned way so much that If you told me That I got this far I wouldn’t have believed you.I learned everything from parking along a curb to learning the rules of the road. I highly recommend I wish I could rate more than 5 stars.
