Town& country has been wonderful to both of my children. My daughter started daycare there in 2018 and was there until August of 2023 because she just started kindergarten. "Miss L." from the preschool room was instrumental in helping her get ready for kindergarten and also provided much needed guidance for a strong willed girl. My son, who is 6 months old, is now a student there as well. Miss Lillie and Miss Brenda have been so helpful and kind to him as well as us (the parents). It is a relief to know that he is well taken care of when he is at school. Miss Taylor and Miss Kim in the other infant room have also been kind and encouraging to my son and again, us.

One thing that I feel very strongly about is how they have kept my daughter safe during the worst of Covid times. As a working mother, I was very pleased with the extra care the center took to make sure that everything was very clean. They also were good about notifying the parents of kids that were exposed and they did shut down rooms at times for safety reasons due to exposure (in 2020). I felt that I could trust the staff there to make sure my daughter was safe and also trust that the center would still be open. Compared to many of my colleagues, Town and country did their best to stay open when many daycares in the area would shut down for 2 weeks due to an exposure.

All in all, I would highly recommend this. Daycare/preschool to any parent. In fact my sister and best friends children go here too because of our experience.

Last but not least, Miss Lisa, the assistant director, is simply amazing. She knows all the kids by name, takes care of the staff, and I've seen firsthand her talking my strong willed daughter down. She is a joy and that place wouldn't run without her!

We are beyond pleased with the level of attention and care both of our boys (4 years old and 4 months old) receive at T&C ELC in Southington. Our oldest can of course communicate everything to us, so we know he’s having fun everyday, but there’s always some apprehension about sending an infant to daycare…but honestly, Julie and Sara in the infant room are beyond wonderful at caring for our little guy. They listen and provide suggestions and feedback and really make me feel comfortable leaving my son with them all day (he started with them at 3 months old). He lights up and smiles when he sees both Julie and Sara, which is a wonderful feeling as a mom knowing he is happy and in good hands. I am so thankful that they care for him like he’s their own!

Leaving your infant with anyone is extremely difficult, especially for a first time mom. With that being said, Miss Amanda has gone above and beyond to make us comfortable leaving our precious angel in her care. Between the photo updates all day and being able to message back and forth with her, it feels like we're right there with him even though we're at work. She really puts all the effort into enriching the kids' lives with crafts, various activities, going for walks, etc.. and it's just SO appreciated! And to top it all off, she's been such a help answering questions and getting our son on a schedule (and sleeping through the night - WOOHOOO!) as she's a wealth of knowledge. I can't speak highly enough of Miss Amanda and Town & Country as a whole.

My son went to T&C for about six months before we pulled him out and put him in another daycare.

T&C is run way too lean, staff-wise. Over the course of this past winter, the infant room was shut down five times. This included one mid-day shutdown that left us scrambling to leave work to pick up our son. The directors claim that these shutdowns are typical of a center of their size, but just ask around, and you'll realize that this is not true.

The staff seem fine and the location is very convenient. But before putting your kid here, ask yourself: am I fine with getting an email at 7:30, as I'm trying to get out the door, letting me know that no daycare is available that day? How about if that happened once every other week for three months?

We love this daycare! Our 5 month old son has been going since he was 3 months old. Miss Amanda in the infant room is amazing and so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. The building is clean, secure, and organized. Highly recommend!

I had found Town and Country in Southington after having a negative experience elsewhere. My son was 8 months old when he started and Miss Amanda in the infant room was absofreakinlutely the BEST. She is hypervigilant and a wealth of knowledge. As a first time mom, I felt comfortable with the infant room staff immediately. The open communication always set my mind at ease along with getting picture updates of what my little man was doing that day. Miss Lisa always has a smiling face to greet us in the morning and Miss Erin is hands on, approachable and an utter delight! Little dude has since graduated to the toddlers room.😊

My son started daycare at 4 months of age. From the time we toured the daycare everyone was so warm and welcoming. Lisa and Erin gave us the tour which was during the height of covid gave us comfort in knowing they just put in a new hvac filter system which helped filter the air. They were so nice and knowledgeable. His infant teacher Miss Amanda was above and beyond all expectations. As a new mom having an infant can be a learning curve. She helped along the way giving advice, getting our son on the best nap schedule, and truly caring for our son. It was never a worry when dropping him off. I knew he was in the most capable and caring hands. I would recommend Town and Country to anyone.

My son has been with Town and Country Southing since he was 8 weeks old, he is turning 3 in January. I can't say enough good things about the care he has received since day one. We have seen teachers come and go venture out to do new things, but I must say the teachers that are currently present at Town and Country are some of the best ones I have seen yet, the care provided not only to my son but all the kids is something that should be recognized. Cant thank the staff enough for the care that is being provided daily to my child. It does not go unnoticed!
