Last week I visited to see if I could test drive a 2024 Toyota Prius. Taft and Jose took great care to answer my many questions and spent 2-3 hours with me finding exactly the specs I wanted. They negotiated with another dealer to get the car I wanted at the price point I needed and sweetened the deal with a pretty fair trade-in and $500 discount. Then when I realized the car I agreed to didn’t have the larger screen they then worked and got me the one I really preferred too. They did all this in just three days. I am now happily driving a gorgeous new car.
It’s also worth saying that this is my first time buying a car and they were really patient and allowed me to consult with people over the phone during this too. They didn’t rush me into making a choice. They explained everything very well.

I was looking to purchase a used car in good condition and I must have looked at a hundred cars. I ended up going to Greenwich Toyota to look at one of their used 2018 Highlanders that I had seen on Car gurus. The car was in great shape and was better than the pictures. Leon was extremely professional and just a great guy to work with. He even took the time to introduce me to the people in the service department. If the people working there are as great and attentive as Leon, I look forward to coming back in the future.

Not too many firsts for me as I approach age 67. Writing a Google Review on a car dealership is one.

Background: I have been buying cars for almost 50 years. Between my wife and I and our four children and one grandchild who is driving (a 2013 Toyota Highlander I bought new) I have purchased several dozen + cars of all makes and models. And from a number of dealerships.

In all this time and in all these experiences, none of them was as good as the one we just experienced when my wife bought her brand new Sienna Minivan at Toyota of Greenwich. Not One.

The People there were amazing - Angie, James, Robert, David, Clint. Honest. Courteous. Forthright. Caring. Adjectives you do not associate with during what is routinely a painful process - buying a car. I'd rather go to my dentist than buy a car, at least they offer numbing medicines.

I put the people first, because they are the foundation of any experience. More so when it comes to buying an expensive item like a car. Turning my attention to the product, my father bought his first Toyota in 1968, a Corolla. Since then I am at least one dozen deep into Toyota's. Just a great car. There are currently five in my driveways (mine and my kids). The car and the support system beneath it are second to none.

If you are going to buy a car, go to Toyota of Greenwich and be prepared to do a hard stop there. Just great honest human beings that happen to have a great product.

Their service department needs to be investigated. I bought my vehicle from them in 2017 and in all this time they are the only placed that has serviced it. I've religiously had the oil changed every 5,000 miles since I bought it. As part of that service they are supposed to check all fluids. Last year I had just brought it in for service. A few days later, I noticed my temp gauge rise. I popped the hood and noticed that the coolant jug was completely empty. The cap and surrounding plastic was full of dust and grime and clearly had not been removed in a very long time despite oil changes every 6 months. I brought it in the next morning for a service and got a lame excuse, but since even my wiper fluid was empty they were clearly not checking fluids during these oil changes. Fast forward to now. I had an oil change done a couple of months ago. At that time I was advised that I should get the Rear Differential Service, Trans Power Flush and Transfer Case Service, which I agreed to and paid for. Today I had a pre-purchase inspection performed on my car at a garage and was advised the rear differential fluid was a little dirty. It should be brand spanking new. They charged me but did they actually service the Rear Diff. At this point I don't know what they actually do when I bring it there. Are they even changing the oil? I'd stay away from their service department because your vehicle's longevity may depend on it.

They dealt with us fairly and were extremely professional to conduct business with - better than many high end dealerships that we have had experience with.
