Great experience!! Horse back riding by the Alaskan beaches with glacier views on one side and the beautiful pink fireweed plants on the other, what else can you ask for. To top it all you have an amazing crew of a cowboy and a cowgirl who lead through the riding experience and connect with you. Mark is very impressive, living a cowboy lifestyle and a superb guide. Good sense of humor, tonnes of stories and interesting answers to your questions, you will not know how easily the time passes by. He has trained the horses really well. Even though i am not an experienced rider, I had a pleasant experience and felt that i could handle and direct my horse (Ranger). Karina is lovely to interact with and very informative and helpful throughout the ride.

Cowboy Mark has an amazing herd! I will be doing this ride every time I am in Homer. Mark is organized, knowledgeable man with great horsemanship. I ride horses weekly and was expecting the usual straight line trail ride. My sister who went with me has no horse experience, and has always been little intimidated by horses. 45 minutes into her ride Maggie boosted her confidents and she’s ready to go again. You start with a switch back down to the beach as you ride and cross the Bay. Mark encourages you to ride to your comfort. Kenai and I spent the day crossing some rivers, herding cattle and loping through the bay. I have never felt so safe and confident as I did on his horse Kenai. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Mark was a awesome guide. Your getting a real cowboy and homesteader. Enjoyed going up and down the switch backs, crossing rivers, and we even tried to herd some cattle (key word tried). We enjoyed our time with Mark and Corina. Well worth the money!
