Great classes & instructors! Needs a running track & hot tub, my two main reasons for seeking out a gym. No massage chairs. Nice view of the front range. The parking lot is packed! Kids from the High school flood the place @ 3:30pm. Close to where I live, but not my cuppa tea.

I love the Tri-Lakes YMCA but classes are getting too crowded and often there are not enough weights for everyone in the room. The weights and mats are badly worn, so bring your own. It seems they need to add more classes and maybe expand again too. Monument and the surrounding area are growing so quickly and this might be part of the cause. The staff and community are amazing!!

First time I've ever tried a YMCA, and I won't be back. We were limited due to options in the area. The facilities were alright. It's just VERY expensive. I would recommend different options such as basic access, then access with classes, then access with childcare. Not everyone needs all of these features, some just need to access the equipment. It feels like a daycare most of the time, with young children occupying treadmills, machines, etc which felt unnecessary and unsafe. Most of the time just on their phones or goofing off. Equipment is very dated for the price charged. Free weight section is very small.

This review is for two reasons. One, the Y itself. Two, the awesome birthday party we had here!

When my (now) 6 year old and I went to the Y the first time Lynn and the other person up front helped me sort out some confusion with my membership and gave us an awesome tour of the Y. The pool is great, especially for younger ones as it has a sloped entrance and has a large shallow area with an awesome splash structure and water slide! Just of note, we did find out that the water wasn’t on for the splash structure during swim lessons so if that’s important to your trip just go around the lessons times. 🙂

Second, for the party!!! The room was super big all set up and good to go for the party section. Gabriella was awesome!!! And thank you so much to Sophia and the aquatics director for making this happen. The lifeguards were amazing too, I was so amazed at how close of an eye they were keeping on everyone! Thank you all for my child’s birthday be super special and fun. 🎉🥳🎊

An indoor pool with child structures that doesn't have a waitlist! We went from 4-6 PM, and we didn't even have to ask about a pool capacity. They had 5 lifeguards working and there was plenty of space for my toddler to enjoy himself. Such a change of pace compared to the Cottonwood Creek YMCA - where you have to wait in lines outside an hour before the pool opens for a CHANCE to swim. Definitely will become regulars here.

I love this YMCA my 2 month old son adores the people at the Learn and Play. The gym is great for cardio, but does lack weight and some strength training equipment. If you looking to be a heavy lifter daily I might look elsewhere. If you are looking to do some cardio, occasionally lift weights and have a child you liked watched as part of your membership, I’d highly recommend this YMCA

The facility is nice but the staff misrepresent policy and then use it as a means to mess with the client. I was told when signing up that I can "pause" my membership as long as I notify them no later then 4 days before my auto payment comes due. I go to pause my membership today and it mysteriously becomes 5 DAYS. So that means I'm going to get jammed for $58.00 even though I followed protocol. You can't do any of this online and you have to go there in person which is ridiculous considering its 2024. Staff don't GAF, they get paid the same whether the gym is full or empty. Is the YMCA a recreation center or a insurance company?

Absolutely love the Monument YMCA! I drop my son off at child watch and he is always cared for by the most loving people. I never have to worry about him and they always give me great updates when I pick him up. The people at the front desk are always warm and friendly. They truly make me feel like I am a part of the community. As a stay at home mom this is one place I get to go and interact with my community. I also love that the YMCA always has a very clean facility. They just updated a lot of their machines and it is truly a great place for a good workout. As a bonus there’s a great little café If you want to enjoy lunch after your workout.
