Before I share this review, I need to give a little bit of background about myself. I am a union ironworker and a few years back. I dropped out and then came back and insane that when I came back, I lost my LA city certification so when I reinstated my book, I had to start over on my welding Certs I went ahead and took with flying colors, but then I took a job because I had a four month. Wait to take my test. . Well, in saying that I had one week to prepare for a test for my written LA city test so I got lucky enough to find this facility where I trained Saturday to Friday and I passed But what makes this remarkable if you look around to find courses there is nobody out there that will give you a one week crash course and get you to pass our instructor. Ray did just that so for all the people out there they need to pass. this is the facility, that will help you get past any dilemma any hesitation on passing this test so again I will state this you will pass going to this facility to practice or to review your open book and your welding symbols and everything else that reviews inside your D1.1 code book 2015 Ray again I will tell you this thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the effort that you did in training me and preparing me in every way possible to pass this test God bless sal Mora

I used to be a certified welder and made the change to an inspector. I took my class at innovative and Gene is good but the classes are so large. These classes are so great. Ray is gonna make sure you pass. He puts the time and effort and is soooo knowledgeable. He cares and spends the time to really help you understand. I love this place and I’ll always spend my money here if it’s ever an option. I can’t recommend Ray’s classes enough.

I would like to start off by saying if you’re looking into getting your LA city ray is the right person to come too!! The way he teaches his courses helps you fully understand the small details that helps you when it comes to the test, he is extremely patient when it comes to teaching you something over and over when you don’t understand it. I remember when I first started his class I felt lost and after finishing his class I was fully knowledgeable on navigating on the book and remembering small details

The instructor is VERY knowledgeable hands on and answers any and ALL questions with patience and effectiveness. He doesn't leave any students behind and makes sure all understand the concept before moving forward. I believe this is why he is so effective. Best experience I've had with any teacher. Can tell he truly loves what he does and makes class interesting amd thorough without ever feeling overwhelmed. He even shows problems outside the box of standard. Ray is willing to go to any lengths for all experience levels. Beginners to Advanced. Very professional and worth the money. Invest in yourself and take it serious. Highly Recommend!!!

Great professor, goes above and beyond for his students. Class sizes are small so the learning experienced is definitely more personalized. I attended this school wanting help getting my rebar certification, and Ray ended up helping me with that and all the certifications offered by his school. I highly recommend it there’s no school that has a professor that puts as much time and energy as Ray into his lessons.

School has never been for me, put a rod and a helmet in my hand and I know what to do. Never saw myself being able to obtain my structural license until I met Ray the way he dedicates himself to his students is truly admirable. If you’re looking to get licensed Ray is your guy, TQI Training is the place. Highly recommend this school.

The LA city D1.1 code book looked intimidating at first I thought I would never be able to comprehend the material. I took the LA city D1.1 class with Ray. He really simplified the code book and really helped me understand. Long story short I ended up passing the LA city exam with a 100%. Highly recommend the LA city test prep class. Worth every penny.
