This place is a joke. My father was standing in front of the lady at the desk and on the phone with her. She put his phone call on hold while he’s standing in front of her and proceeded to answer another phone call and schedule an appointment with them. Also told them that there is only 3 appointments left. Then told My father there is no appointments. This is worst “customer service” I’ve seen.

It may be a struggle to get appointment. But if you call they will give you ways to get one. Everyone who works there genuinely want to help people get assistance. I do feel bad for them when they are trying to help a client and they brought no documents. But even then they will do everything they can to help.

I'm a little confused on what the difference is between TCAP and PIPP. Either or, I can never reach anyone. I lost my job at the end of April so since then have been struggling to keep bills afloat. I call this place literally every morning, and the voicemail says they have exceeded their amount of phone calls for the day, and that's it! To call back tomorrow. What is the point in all of that? Does anyone know of anything else I could do? Thanks everyone.

These people are seriously slow! Applied for the headstart program in August of 2023. I had to email for every update, and was told that theyll call once he gets approved. Haven't heard anything for months then get a call on 02/11/24 that they just got my son's application and he's approved to start preschool now. Seriously? I had everything submitted 7 months ago, but you just now got my son's application. Get it together!

We turned in our reverification documents ourselves SEVEN WEEKS AGO, but the Department of Development sent us a letter saying they don't have them yet. I keep trying to get a winter crisis appointment but it's always full, so we ask, and they say "she hasn't reset it for December yet, I'm not sure when she will." They gave us a number for Wednesday walk-ins that GOES TO VOICEMAIL. I tell her I'm worried we'll lose our PIPP, and she says "they usually put you on a payment plan that's a little higher until we get you reverified", meaning THEY DO THIS TO PEOPLE REGULARLY. I call the Department of Development and they say "Yeah, they're behind" at TCAP.

We never had this problem in Toledo. They're not doing thier jobs, and they're putting people's lives at risk with the winter temperatures.
