Our wedding day was 10/6/24 at the absolutely stunning Tudor House on Portage Lakes. My husband and I toured the venue back in January of 2023 and immediately locked in our date without looking at any other venues. It was the perfect vibe for us. Tudor style mansion right on the lake. The owner, Tim is one of the most down to earth, laid back, but professional guy out there! He knows more about the wedding process than I could ever imagine. He was super hands on every step of the way and made sure every single one of our wants and needs were met. He definitely takes pride in his business and will insure your day is completely perfect. The morning of our big day we had a couple small things go wrong and Tim instantly handled it all and took charge.
One of the best parts of the venue is the ability to choose all of your own vendors when it comes to catering, bartender, etc. The possibilities are endless and we loved the options. Our day couldn’t have gone more perfectly and we owe it all to our amazing vendors, especially the Tudor House coordination team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making the best day of our lives possible.

We hosted our wedding ceremony at the Tudor House and had an excellent time. The bridal and groom suites were abundant and accommodating. Plenty of space for our 20 person wedding party. We were able to host our nearly 250 guests comfortably outside and we had a terrific experience the day of. We brought the tropics to Portage Lakes and thee waterfront served as a perfect backdrop for our theme. My groom pulled up to the ceremony in a speed boat! As our date approached we became nervous of all the renovations happening on the grounds, but that was short lived. The team worked quickly to prepare the grounds and interiors for our arrangements. The historic, home is a picture of romance and they’ve done an excellent job preserving that history while providing modern amenities. The staff was present day of to help with set up and parking. Leading up to the day they were readily available for any questions or walk throughs of the space. We had a tall bill and were met for the most part wherever we needed. That was invaluable and many of our guests remarked on this “hidden gem” in North East Ohio.

We did not have the best experience once the management switched over (This has been updated to reflect that Beach Boyz, Ent isn’t managing the Tudor House). We were informed a month before the wedding that we had to pay an additional $1300 for a tent that we did not use as we were only using the venue for our ceremony. We understand the city enforced this rule, but some flexibility with pricing would’ve been appreciated.

Overall our day was wonderful, despite the one issue. The staff was attentive and ensured our day went off without a hitch. Thank you to the entire team for helping to make this day one of a kind. We had a fantastic, beautiful day and are happy we chose the Tudor House for our wedding.

The venue is very beautiful and we overall had an amazing time. However, they were pretty strict with us during the reception because of liability reasons, which is understandable. It just didn't sit right with us considering how much we paid. Even though they were strict, that really is the only issue other than that they were very nice and easy to work with throughout the whole process.

We attended a wedding here this past weekend and it was top notch from beginning to end! The setting is gorgeous and you can tell the owners have put a ton of money and love into this property. The food was from Lala's and it was FANTASTIC. All the staff we encountered was kind and helpful. Highly recommend if you're looking for an event venue.

We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect! Sophia, Monica, and Tim all helped out and made the day so smooth! Everyone was so impressed with how pretty it is! So happy with the Tudor House and definitely recommend for weddings!

We attend a wedding thereon Saturday and I personally would never go there again. The walk from the house to where the wedding was not walkable. The food was cold and they served coffee with glass cups that were very cold that made the coffee cold. Only one heater in the tent that made it very uncomfortable . Not that nice for the price . Sorry
