While other sites (Superprofs) give you your first lesson for free, this one charges EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE LESSON!! I booked face-to-face with one of the tutors and an hour before she was meant to come, she let me know that all subsequent sessions would be online. I said that wasn't what I wanted or booked so we'd better just cancel. And moments after her session was meant to finish, I got a text from Tutorful to say I'd been charged £54. They have not rectified anything or taken the charge off. Absolutely horrible company. So many better options out there.

If you are a tutor on this site be aware that the company do not remove spam messages and you will be contacted in a very unprofessional way by various people. Complete time wasters who are looking for free trial sessions and who really don't wish to commit. Unless you tutor with them exclusively and given them the extortionate rate of commission they charge then you will get very poor business from them.

I have been tutoring with Tutorful for around 3 months now
The site and app are both extremely user friendly
The online classroom is easy to access and really easy to use for both the tutor and the student
They have a great messaging factors where you can safely stay in contact with your students and send them resources!
The scheduling and s easy and they send reminders for all of your lessons!
You also get access to the lesson once it is complete which is great for students!
It is easy to set up your tutor profile once you upload all the relevant documents and it is easy to find students that suit your expertise!
I would definitely recommend for tutors and students!

My son was too unwell to attend a lesson booked (this was not something we knew would have happened 24hours before the lesson). Being aware of the cancellation policy, I contacted the tutor directly, and it was agreed to postpone the lesson. Most unfortunately, I was then charged twice for the one lesson. The tutor clearly was not bothered to assist with a refund when I queried it. Really got the impression, it's all just about the money. I have now raised the issue with my bank as well. I won't use Tutorful again, unless this is resolved, and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

My son was reluctant at first to have tutor but now he has had a few lessons, he is happy with the extra support. Richard the tutor knows his subject and has made learning easy. We have already seen an improvement in grades. The app is easy to use and there is good/speedy communication with the tutor. Would highly recommended

Tutorful is a wonderful platform for teachers and for students. My son could find suitable teachers that help him to pass the A leves with good grades and at the rate that we could afford and he was very happy with them. I am also a teacher on Tutorful and it is ideal for finding students.

As a tutor who has the experience of tutoring on multiple websites for the past 3 or so years, I highly recommend Tutorful to students and new tutors looking to gain exposure. Tutorful is a great website/app, easy to use and understand, and also very convenient for online classes and secure in the manner in which in person classes are carried out - releasing the tutor and student's personal information after a fee has been paid. Very trustworthy and effective site to use.

Thank you, Tutorful!
Jacqueline made a massive difference in helping my daughter with her advanced maths. In hindsight, it would have been good to connect with Tutorful and Jacqueline four weeks earlier. However, once we did connect, it made all the difference and gave my daughter a real chance to pass, hopefully more than just passing.

My daughter’s confidence and ability quickly changed over a short period of time, proving that a great teacher makes all the difference. We would highly recommend using Tutorful, especially Jacqueline, if you need an advanced maths tutor! ?‍?
