I can’t say enough good things about the Tutoring in Fairfax. There is a variety of tutors that can help you in different areas of study. You can’t go wrong with any of them. There are all well- seasoned. My daughter needed help with a specific math test. We came to the center rather late in the game but still wanted to take the chance and try to pass the exam. Thanks to the center my daughters scored above 90% and got into Algebra 1 by default. Whether you need help or challenge, Laleh can pair you up with the appropriate tutor in her center. You won't regret it.

We moved into Fairfax county in February of 2020. The new location and restrictions that came by way of Covid-19 caused my oldest daughter to fall slightly behind her previous level in Math. Prior to her sessions, she was struggling in her Algebra Honors course and even submitted a request to withdraw from the course. Last fall I contacted Tutoring in Fairfax to see if they could help my 8th grade daughter in math. She hated math and any attempt for us to help her left her in tears. We decided on private lessons. I was ready for the battle with my daughter to attend these sessions each week but after the first lesson I never heard a complaint. They started her with the basics and 4 months later she is getting A’s on Math test. The best part is she now loves math, she enjoys doing her homework and does it with out asking. Before using Tutoring in Fairfax, Math was not a subject that my dyslexic son liked to tackle. Now, he feels confident in his ability to understand difficult concepts due to his tutor's ability to break down and simplify the steps to solve problems, as well as identifying errors in the problem solving process. His tutor takes an interest in the student as an individual, which really creates a confidence within the student to want to excel; something not achieved in a traditional school setting. Lots of one-on-one attention and a willingness to help the student progress. We'll be using them indefinitely.
