We went to the concert by Laurence Juba. It was great. He is such a talent. However there is no air conditioning in this historic church and it felt like a hundred degrees. The congregation was great in handing out water and trying to use fans to cool things down. Not their fault Mother Nature was not cooperating. So after a two hour drive, in the rain, I was happy to get back in the air conditioned car to head home. Would I go there again? Yes, with a check of the forecast.

This caring congregation has been community oriented for over 50 years. Their local outreach has included a weekly soup kitchen which continued throughout the pandemic; support for local Boy Scouts by providing a meeting place for two scout levels; and participation in annual inter-faith services joining with the local synagogue in Chester as well as other faith communities in the Shoreline area. The outreach now extends across the USA through streaming of the Sunday Morning worship, as well as archiving the recorded service for availability anytime. The congregation also supports Lady Doake College in India, which was established by member Katie Wilcox in the late 1940's. This college was one of the first to provide advanced education to women in India.
Truly a treasure of a congregation in Middlesex County.
