I really enjoyed going through the Medical Assisting program! The staff from start to finish were very helpful! My instructor Ms. Martinez was always very helpful and is a great example of a supportive and exemplary professor ! The Medical assisting program team and the LVN program team I worked with were always supportive of pursuing bigger goals ! Thanks to them and the front office staff I plan to join the BSN program soon !

As of today, I can officially say I am a Unitek Alumni! Joining 1 of their programs has completely changed my life around for my daughter and I. The staff from day 1 was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgable as they helped guide me through the entire program and beyond my education with them. Id like to thank Sage for meeting with me during my first visit and helping me choose the right route for me to take. Secondly, Id also like to thank my instructor and externship coordinator, Ms. Pounds for being such an amazing mentor. Ms. Pounds and Casey (the Career Services Advisor) went above and beyond for me to be able to gain an externship site back in my hometown at the very last minute. Lastly, everyone else that also has an impact such as Ms. Kaur, Arianna, Cecilia, and more..... I am extremely grateful for every single of you. I highly recommend Unitek College just simply by the amount of support I was given during my time here.

Mr.Casey has been very helpful over that past three months by helping me improvise my resume and personally coaching me on where exactly to start so that I may succeed in my career. He goes out of his way to make the students benefit the most out of his service, I’d definitely give that hard working man a raise!

A lot of good instructors here. I wish communication between faculty and students was better. I also wish instead of instructors telling students to read the whole book they would create a summary of notes that is important, because the school is fast pace and not everyone have time to read the whole book. Overall it’s a good school. I graduated in 2022 and passed NCLEX with my first attempt. This school is very fast pace if you don’t have time to fully invest, don’t do it. It is not easy. You have to fully commit yourself, and your support system to your education. If you have young kids make sure you have a strong support system and child care. Good luck and study smart not hard.

I'm a current grad from the VN program, so heads up, if you're looking for perfection don't go to this school, you'll be disappointed, they have some kinks they can straighten out (ex. last minute changes in the class schedule). But overall they have a good VN program, and have helpful staff members available like Kayla Campista, the Career Service Advisor, she's awesome and super helpful. Some of the instructors are phenomenal, like Ms. Gena, Ms. Fe, Ms. Claudelle, Ms. Dani, and Dr. Kaur, I'm grateful and appreciative for all of them. Best of luck to you.

Recent Vocational Nurse graduate , and I’m officially licensed as well . Unitek college had done a phenomenal job at getting me to where I am today , from day one , to graduating , to passing the nclex. The instructors are amazing ! To the theory and clinical instructors , Ms, Fe / Claudelle / Imelda / Gina / Destiny / Rose and to the amazing director , Ms. GeV . And to the ladies down stairs that runs the front desk, especially Kayla ! Thank you for being part of my journey and the endless support and knowledge and skills you guys have taught me ! To adress a lot of the concerns , first off the program Is Fast track Meaning you will need to be able to keep up with amount of assignments and lectures being thrown at you . It’s very possible, you just have to be disciplined and motivated . If you’re a very slow learner and need more timing to learn subjects , I recommend you stick with community college , that way you can go on your own paced . Many complain of it being hard , of course it’s going to be hard , it’s nursing school. Nursing school is designed for you to critically think as a nurse , if nursing school wasn’t hard then everyone would be doing it . And no private school is perfect , they are all the same , unitek will do their part and most importantly you need to give and do your part as well . You can’t expect it to be handed to you directly, you need to put in the studying time as much as possible . The tuition is pricy , but again it’s your decision whether to pay that or not , or you can just go to a community and Pay less but you will have likely have to be wait listed for years at a community college unless you get lucky and get in the program! A year ago before starting with unitek , I was attending community college and was told I would be waiting approximately about 3-4 years just to get accepted into the nursing program, but I did my research and knew that sacrifices I was gonna have to make , and just like that I’m a officially a licensed Nurse! If you have patience, dedication, and commitment and very understanding, then I highly suggest unitek college !
