I went to school at UNC. It's a good school! Little pricey. Definitely recommend doing your first 2 years at a local junior college then transferring in.

I don't attend UNC, I live nearby and occasionally walk around the campus and enjoy the scenery.

I love this school so much. The professors are great and the dorms are exceptionally nice. There are so many nice people here. The professors here want you to succeed, as long as you work for it. For a small school, this is a really amazing one. I totally recommend this place if you're looking for a good education. The town is small, and there's not much to do, but there is a lot to do on campus and it's better to study anyways instead of party. I'm so glad I transferred here, it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.

DO NOT PICK UNC FOR THEIR ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) PROGRAM! WORST EXPERIENCE!

I had the worst experience attending UNC. I graduated from UNC from their early childhood special education masters program.
First of all, the advisor support is nonexistent. When new CDE guidelines were put into place I was not informed that I would be required to take another licensing test from what was required when I started the program.
Next, one of my summer classes the professor went MIA. No one could get a response from the professor while trying to finish the project that held the most points for the class. There was weeks of no communication and other staff didn’t know what was going on and why the professor was MIA.
Finally, my advisor committed academic dishonesty that if not discovered would have resulted in the delay of my graduation. He changed the syllabus for the portfolio requirements after the assignment was submitted and I had pointed out that I had indeed followed the syllabus. When it became very clear that my advisor wasn’t going to hear me out and something was awry, I involved the department head and it was determined that I had indeed met the requirements under the original syllabus before it was changed.
In summary, yes I graduated but I had to fight tooth and nail to get that degree.

Out of control maintenance workers you can't even walk across campus without fearing for your life of being hit. Have called and complained multiple times nobody does anything speeding through the parking lots like crazy people.

A great, friendly and small college. I'm a little worried that it might grow to much in the coming years, and tuition increases have been pretty steep, but UNC is still a wonderful school. The campus is especially beautiful in the fall.

The University of Northern Colorado has an underlying ethos of nurture and support. The teachers are excellent and are very involved with their students. Education is innovative and progressive here. The dorm accommodations are the best in Colorado, and the food is amazing. There is always lots of choice on the menu, and the salad bar is exceptional. UNCO is very much underrated at present, but it is growing in reputation. I think it will be considered an outstanding school in 10 or 15 years, and a degree from here will carry a great deal of weight. The music school is truly outstanding. The school is absolutely beautiful. Central Campus is full of character, charm, and mature trees, and West Campus is new and modern and has wonderful facilities. This is a school that takes great care of its students. I loved the campus the first time I visited, and every interaction I have had here has been positive. I feel so happy and at home here. I would choose UNCO over any other school in Colorado.

This University is an awesome one to attend! Professors care about their students, and this campus has a friendly atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this University! The ONLY thing I dislike is the smell of Greeley at times - but that is not the University's fault.
