Both of my kids went here and learned valuable skills. This is a good school for learning a career. My great-granddaughter goes here for preschool. While she learns her abc's and 123's, the students of Vanguard are learning early childhood education. A great place for everyone to learn.

My husband and I both graduated from Vanguard. I am currently an instructor at the technology center. My son is in the welding program and our daughter was accepted into the medical program. Vanguard offers on the job training and experience that will lead your child on the path to success. All of the teachers and instructors care about the students needs in the classroom and out. My son has had success in his lab and has been able to compete at the State level in SkillsUSA, Ambassador for Vanguard , and he is in Drug Free Clubs of America. He has received a scholarship and his teachers have supported him in the classroom to reach is educational goals. Me and my husband decided long ago that all 3 of our children would attend a career center to further their success in school , college and the workforce. I definitely suggest Vanguard to any student that wants to reach the next level in their education.

Excellent school to attend while in highschool. Good food, community and amazing labs to take. Teachers are more down to earth and do their job well. I recommend any teen that wants to know a trade to partake in Vanguard

I graduated from vanguard. I loved my lab teachers in cosmetology. They both taught so well, and I've learned a lot from them both. I style my daughter's hair everyday now. However I gotta say that we should deffinately get new teachers for our main courses. I felt that quite a few of my teachers for my general studies classes didn't really connect with their students very well, and it effected how well we understood... But overall I loved my experience at Vanguard, and I would highly reccoment this school to anyone. No questions asked. Great job Vanguard.

Just graduated with the class of 2019 from the design, engineering, and architecture lab. Everyone here wants to do everything they can to help you secured, but won't hold your hand the whole time either. It can be tougher than a traditional high school, but the rewards and feelings of accomplishment are much higher as well. You get trained for your career the way you can learn instead of just getting taught things like English, history, etc. Most, if not all labs have job placement and certifications and college credits the student can earn as well to jump start them in college. It is free to attend, though some labs may have special fees like a $25 SkillsUSA fee which is not controlled by vanguard, to compete in competitions and run for several offices. Though not required, highly recommended by a 2 time competitor, candidate for office, and voting delegate. If you want quality college level training, a college jump start, but also somewhere to help and challenge you at the same time, go here.

My son loves it. Different curriculum for high school students. You have to check with guidance counselor to make sure your child graduates with necessary courses.
