Worse company to help out with tutoring, some of their tutors are good, took me 3 different tutors to get a good one. Also they will not let u cancel without a 30 minute ramble about why u should buy this new program or whatever. Terrible customer service. They also have outdated material for the SAT prep, digital sat does not test on imaginary numbers. Better off doing free khan academy, and textbooks and YouTube. Do not buy from these people.

My experience with Varsity Tutors has been wonderful! The opportunity to serve students and families in the region and other areas of the country through the online platform has been rewarding. I've been with Varsity Tutors for about 6 months and enjoy it very much! They make the process very easy to find students and communicate with the tutors. I have been paired with some great students so far! I'm especially loving the online platform because of the convenience and ease. Varsity gives great background information about each student which helps you prepare better for when you meet. I'm very glad to work with them.

I am a tutor for Varsity Tutors and so far I have thuroughly enjoyed the experience. They help match you up with students that you are best suited for and make the entire experience very painless for both the tutor and the student as well. It is difficult to get many hours, but I am able to make my own schedule which is very nice. The pay is good, which is especially nice given that the hours worked can be rather small depending on how many students you tutor. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience and I love to see how much I have helped these students in their studies.

My experience with Varsity Tutors has been extremely positive. It's a fantastic way to help students and working adults brush upon on their academic skills, and it's also a great way to earn extra money with a very flexible schedule. The support staff are very helpful, and I've always received a quick response to my questions regarding scheduling, creating invoices, etc. I've also recently used the online platform for the first time, and it was very easy to converse and share information remotely with students.

My family started using Varsity Tutors last year for my middle scholers for Math. What I love about Varsity Tutors is the flexibility of the Tutors, the fact that they can come to your home to tutor at your convenience. I also love the fact that they have tutors that suit one's particular needs. I wanted a Tutor that was was a teacher and in the school system, they got me one. Will I recommend? Absolutely. And oh, they check up on you every time to ensure the tutors are doing exactly what they are supposed to do.

The ACT tutoring my son received from Varsity Tutors improved my son's
scores by 3 points in a very short period of time. The video conferencing proved to work extremely well with my son's schedule. I was a little apprehensive that he might not focus us well, but in the end he was 100% focused. I would highly recommend Varsity Tutors. They were extremely easy to work with, and they totally have your child's best interest at heart.

I have deeply enjoyed my experience with Varsity Tutors. The staff and directors are so prompt about getting me information, and the system of matching students and tutors is fabulous. I have enjoyed all the students I have worked with, and we have a great rapport. The practice questions in the system are wonderful for teaching, and cover such a range of topics, that I never run out of material. I love the online forum and the flexibility that it provides for me as a tutor. I am able to schedule appointments with little fuss and have always been able to make things work to meet with my students. This is a system that allows for me to meet their needs and also maintain my own life. During the school year I teach full time and can only take on one or two, but during the summer I like to work with more students so I can continue to teach - this allows me the best of both worlds! I have had no issues at all with Varsity Tutors and would highly recommend it to students or other tutors.
