I've been going to college for over thirty-seven years and have been to eight different universities and colleges. This institution, I consider my home. Great faculty, comfort environment, and great support. They have a wide range of classes available--both academic and trade/art classes. I started attending VVC in 2017.

Registration this year was a dumpster fire. They changed everything at the last possible moment. Head of college had to send out multiple apology letters, but offered no actual help if you were affected by the disastrous roll out of a new system. This school takes forever to pay you financial aid money that should be disbursed immediately in full. 30 percent first then the rest a month later is ridiculous. You charged for classes and registration up front, plus books and materials cost more than classes. Barstow pays you all your aid within a week of school starting, but they send a check. It arrives on time though and you get paid 100% of YOUR money. Go to Barstow online classes instead for financial aid.

VVC financial aid was delayed almost a week this semester as well. They had to send another apology letter for this.

VVC is obsessed with outsourcing everything to other companies and charges more fees on top of payments for using other companies. For example parking permits can only be bought online through a third party vendor who charges a fee to pay for the freaking permit. I get charged fees for paying school expenses like registration or ASB costs. This school is greedy. Most instructors are garbage and think they belong at an ivy league, and are delusional about teaching at a community college.

Go to Barstow online classes instead for fast and way easier financial aid, I didn't even have to go to campus at all and got FAFSA money ASAP!!!!!

VVC is not good at all for financial aid.

I’ve been attending Victor Valley College for over a year now. Nice campus, cool programs, great community services, I like my professors, program building is one stop location for all administration services, great remote campus location for my Aviation program, counseling department could be a little more helpful and communicative, I support any and all to attend for starting your college journey, great for career retraining, perfect for life long learners, and it seems like a good place to work. Education is gold and VVC is a good place to mine that gold.

People use the parking lot to park and ride bikes on the bike pad that it goes long way next to the narrows. A lot of people come here to spend the day or afternoons walking or riding bike. Awesome place for couples or families with kids. Bring your water and snacks to spend a fabulous day...
