They have helped us twice, when we were living in Sandusky, at two different times. The staff is very nice, they will help you to find a place that is best suited for you, however it is also helpful if you can help yourself as well. They do provide food as well during meal times. Those who are on food stamps can also bring in and warm food in the microwave during meals. Nof food or drinks are allowed in the rooms because it is a very clean facility and they do not want bugs. You are assigned chores as well, but the chores are not hard to do. They will also sometimes help you to find jobs. They worked with us when they found out that our son has allergies to eggs and peanut products. They do nice things for families w/kids such as birthday presents/party, Easter baskets, Christmas presents, etc. They also help w/ giving you a food box, cleaning products, toilet paper, shower things like shampoo and soap, toilet paper, etc when you move out and into your new place. If you do go to the hospital and are late coming in after curfew then you just have to provide documentation from the hospital. They help you as much as they possibly can but again, you also have to help yourself somewhat too.

I am homeless and going through a rough time. Nobody helps you in the right direction here. I was able to find a job in 3 days. They have no case workers or social workers or any kind of people to help you with you next steps in finding your own place. They just sit around and boost. Everyone has very little bit of courage then they kick you out. Some go beg around the neighborhood. they do feed you. They do allow you to shower and sleep but it's only when they want you to. Petty nice staff but they are missing a lot of peices. I also asked tonight after I got some things stolen to look at the camera for me. I was told that they couldn't look at them until Monday. It's Friday night a double have your belongings stolen they have cameras everywhere and they can't help you until Monday.

Never again. I Stayed almost 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. Even though they helped me get into an apartment. They called Children Services on me and had my daughter taken away because I had been living at their shelter. Needless to say because of them doing that my daughter was placed up for adoption 4 days later and she was only 4 days old.

Very rude will go though your stuff n take stuff out of your locker can't have no food or drinks inside the building will say they will help you get in your feet but won't n if your working at late to get back they give your attitude n like I will say don't leave and change or money in your LOCKED LOCKER cause they will take it
