I recently completed my tailwheel endorsement training at Vx Pilot Academy and couldn't be happier with the entire experience! I chose Vx because they came highly recommended by some pilots in my area, and they absolutely lived up to the praise.

Even before hopping into the cockpit, I was sent a link to an online tailwheel course. It gave me a solid understanding of the differences in flying a tailwheel aircraft and made sure I was prepared for the actual flying. My CFI, Drew, was fantastic. Not only is he an excellent pilot, but his teaching style kept things both focused and fun (getting familiar with the aircraft by following the river was awesome!). The whole program was laid out in a way that made it easy to progress smoothly, and I always felt confident as I advanced through each lesson.

If you're looking for quality flight instruction with a great balance of professionalism and enjoyment, I HIGHLY recommend Vx Pilot Academy!

Keeps removing my reviews because they don't want people to see the truth. I've contacted Google about it. Drew is a good instructor but doesn't honor his promises. This is to add proof of their overcharging. They have erased my first review. I'm retired veteran. I went there only to get a sport license and spent approx. $6000.00 and only have 10 (out of 20) flight hours to show for it. I knew they had never instructed for a sport license before as he went to lease the plane. Please check the pricing attached.
This Academy is not recommended for those only wanting a sport license.

I flew with Tylan as my flight instructor. He was very patient with me as I was learning. I feel like he really took the time to work with me on the areas I was struggling. I had a great experience with VX Pilot Academy. I used them to get my tail wheel, high performance and complex endorsements, as well as instrument, commercial and multi-engine rating. They were professional, friendly, and worked hard to ensure plane and instructor availability I needed to get done on schedule. Also worked with me on specific areas I need help in to make sure I passed my check-rides and written tests. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
