Water works is an awesome environmental education center! They have amazing exhibits, and are a great example of reusing a facility that otherwise would have been vacant or torn down. They have renovated the old water treatment plant into classrooms, natural water filtration systems, offices, a green roof, solar panels, invertebrate ponds, and all kinds of teaching opportunities. Mike Roden, Jay Grantland, and Renona Seibert are an awesome staff. Thanks for such a great learning opportunity in North Alabama.
