My personal experience with weld south was excellent. I highly recommend coming to this school over any other school. The instructors go above and beyond when it comes to the students there, not only do they do an incredible job at teaching and demonstrating the required practices to become a professional welder, they go above and beyond as people to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable and have a fun 6 months while taking the welder course. My only regret with weld south is that I did not go sooner. Will Hoffman is one of the best welders to ever bless gods green earth and should have a plaque that reads “Certified G.O.A.T. Welder” as a matter of fact if they paid him enough I think he could weld the titanic back together. (they say it can’t be done but they haven’t met Will and Jeff Hoffman yet)

The wealth of knowledge and years of real world experience that Joe and Jeff bring to the class every day are staggering. The well laid out curriculum and hands on instruction made an introduction to this field intuitive and fun. I legitimately recommend this course to everyone that’s even remotely interested in welding. I had an amazing experience and am now starting a career that’s engaging and challenging and pays me buckets of money.

Saying this was a great experience for my son doesn't do the review justice. --- my son tried a local community college for a while and ended up quitting. After a while he said he wanted to try welding again. ---- We happened to see Weld South signs and looked them up and talked to them. ----fast forward 6 months and my son has finished the program, received his 6g pipe certification and is now actively working as a welder. --- you can't beat the time spent actually welding and receiving instruction. He said after the first day of class "they already checked on me and gave me more instruction than my year and a half at -----" .

It doesn’t get any better than Weld South, don’t waste your time at a 2 year community college where your instructors don’t know any more than you do. You’ll learn 10x more in 1/4 of the time at Weld South. If you take the class serious, the Hoffman’s will take of you
