Candace and her sister are incredibly talented and skilled with the kids and know how to transform learning into passion for math. I really appreciate their role in the neighborhood community as well, it’s a joy to see the children playing and learning together around a round table.

When I moved into my new apartment I thought the bars on the block would be the biggest issue in terms of noise. How wrong I was.

Every day the staff at Why Hate Math puts the kids outside for up to 2 hours. Naturally there's a lot of screaming and shouting. Kids being kids!

Unfortunately, the adults in charge either don't realize how sound travels or simply don't care.

As a WFH professional, it's horrible living next door to this business. I've lost focus in meetings due to the shrill, unrelenting screams of their students. I've also had to delay tasks due to the noise, which creates a backlog in my queue.

I called once when the noise was completely out of hand and I had an important meeting scheduled. The lady I spoke to said OK but the noise actually got worse 😞

Starting around 1PM on a Sunday—a day the business is closed—the staff at Why Hate Math put the students outside for over five hours of screaming, yelling, and shouting. It’s now 6:15PM as of this review and the kids are still outside screaming.

I called Why Hate Math to ask if they could keep the noise down. The woman on the line paused for a moment before hanging up on me.

I’m baffled that a new-to-the-area business can be this openly inconsiderate of its neighbors.

I would recommend this Math service to any child that needs additional support. My son was consistently earning Math scores below 60 percentile for years. After enrolling him into the virtual sessions his Math grades began to improve tremendously. Last week he received a 92 on his Math test. THANKS to the Why Hate Math team for allowing my son to feel confident in his Math abilities and for being accommodating.

This is such an excellent business. They make such an effort to make sure every parent’s concerns regarding their children are met. I 100% recommend this business to anyone looking for a place that meets students where they are at and helps them build on their math skills!
