There was a time when the YMCA was organized, and conducted their services in orderly fashion. The only thing that has stayed the same is the rude lady that continues to sit at the front desk, whos behavior continues to be excused because of who she's friends with( ED)!!! Many people have complained yet she sits their with her tight face and disrespectful comments still holding a job that requires her to be welcoming and kind to the community. There's no real organization or order to any thing that they are doing . When coach Glenn was there it was never ran like this they have went downhill big time and need rescueing 🛟. The building seems empty all the time and know one ever has clear info on anything. they say we will get back to you and never do. We need brother Carl and coach Glenn back they reached the community and we reached back . I don't know what y'all doing now but it's time for change. We need people who want to reach the community and not look down on them .

Only signed up for a membership to send my kids to Camp. Camp has not even started yet and I’ve already paid $1,300 for my kids to attend when I was approved for 50% off. No where did they state these payments would be weekly and starting 1 month prior to Camp. Called and told them this is crazy because I just made a payment last Tuesday as a single parent with 1 income weekly payment out of my account does not work. The person on the phone telling me to calm down but don’t realize it’s no calming down when you are told you won’t be refunded the $900 I paid to even register my kids. This place is a fraud and take your money when services wasn’t even provided. I was told I can get all the money paid except my $900 if I unenroll my kids and that they can’t attend the paid for weeks. Someone has to give me answers or I will be contacting a lawyer for my refund in full.

I signed up for a 4-session personal training and the trainer only showed up once. It was a very difficult process to get a refund. I felt so disrespected by the directors. They did not return my phone calls after 4 weeks of trying to reach them. I had to call the downtown office and file a complaint. I do not recommend this branch.

Great staff and members. They are family oriented and are always updating their programs. The workout classes are worth trying out. I highly recommend doing a Zumba class. It's included with your membership or you can pay 5$ per class!

I'd give more 🌟's if i could!!! The Wilson-Gray YMCA has been more inviting than you could imagine. My son Lucas enjoys going to their outdoor activities a well as their Christmas Parties or going to the going back to school party being sure every child is given a book bag filled with supplies. They have a live Dj live performances even A cook out with games and lots of other things. He was so very excited to try the rock climbing something he's never done before!! He likes to watch the bigger kids through the glass windows play 🏀 basketball! My son also has attended Camp Jewell for the 3rd year in a row this year!!! Somewhere i wouldn't have been able to send him without the help they have to offer! Christina rocks and is on top of things! Believe me you do not have to call to ask questions about things that will be happening. She works very hard to send e-mails to all of us and is sure she let's us know what will be happening in the near future such as happenings for the children as well as the adults. She also lets us know about Christmas Parties for the families. The rest of the staff are always friendly and welcoming I couldn't give one complaint about a thing. People don't like the area but once inside the outside shouldn't matter. This place is a safe environment for our children. Each and everyone who works here is here to help our children in good Or bad situations that they may have gone through. They Don't exclude or judge anyone!!! I thank God i was able to get connected with the Wilson-Gray YMCA and i look forward to many more years to come. My son is 10 years old so we will continue to go there for a while. If he likes it there i luv it!!! Thank you to all the friendly Staff who have helped us.

They run before and after school programs where I bring my niece to school. I am regularly forced to be late to my job because employees simply don’t show up on time or at all. The director and her boss get defensive and rude when you ask time and again for something to be done. They are not reliable at all and take no responsibility for correcting the issues at hand.
