Winston Preparatory School is a school where the educators completely understand all different types of learning disabilities. They have designed and executed a program that impacts those with LD in a significantly positive way. The leaders and teachers are top notch. The curriculum is challenges LD kids who are smart but need to have specific learning issues addressed. Their focus program is unique and delivers one on one coaching on the student's most challenging areas. If you have a child with learning issues, you should definitely meet with Winston Prep.

I attended Winston Prep for several years, and I believe that my time there played an invaluable role in shaping the person that I am today. The teachers at Winston taught me to believe in myself and push myself to achieve things that I didn't even know I was capable of back then. They knew how to work with each and every student there and how to help them achieve their maximum potential, and I continued to see this at work as I continued to visit the school at least once every year since my departure to catch up with my teachers and friends. I continued to put the self advocacy and writing skills I learned at Winston into practice through the rest of high school and throughout college, culminating in graduating with honors. Now, over seven years after transitioning from Winston, I’m continuing my journey in the workplace with my first job after college. I would not be where I am without them.

My daughter graduated from Winston Prep Connecticut. Their individualized education plan and the focus program remediated years of frustrating public education. Winston also goes beyond the traditional academic demands by intergrating crucial life skills such as self awareness, self advocacy and resiliency which promotes the wellness and success of students far beyond their WPS experience.
