I don't think there are enough kind things to say about this clinic and it's WONDERFUL staff! I brought in one of my more shy fosters to get fixed( 1st foster, 3rd dog they have taken care of) and I feel like they went above and beyond for him! We were immediately shown into a room so he didn't have to be in the lobby they then recommended it stay with the little guy until they sedated him so they didn't stress him out more by having to kennel him, which I think truly proves they are about the dogs comfort and not what is more convenient for them! I will continue to bring my fosters and my family dogs here for many years to come ❤️

Been with this vet., three years now. Never up charge. They are so friendly and treat you pets like their own. It's great! Been to many vets. in the past. We have had many dogs🐕 (7 dogs at one time). We also have added four cats🐈. It's great that we can take our dogs and cats to same place. Everyone is so compassionate. We will not go to anyone else. 😍

Dr. Baier is very perceptive and very tuned in to the pets. He is the only one who has ever diagnosed our 16 year old cat with asthma. Staff is excellent!
Glad we found them!

They are absolutely amazing. After our long-time vet passed away, we had a hard time trusting and finding a new vet in the area with our fur babies. Dr. Baier and his team took amazing care of my Chacho. And then, when he took a turn for the worse, Dr. Baier came to us. I can honestly say I will never take my fur babies to anyone. Dr. Baier, he honestly has compassion and love for the animals that you want in the veterinarian for your fur babies.

Always the best care!
We moved to an other town, but we keep coming back.
Dr Conrad and his staff are caring, professional, kind!
We started to go to Dr Conrad over 20 years ago for a second opinion for our beloved dog. An other Vet said his leg needed surgery… Dr Conrad immediately had found the problem; a thistle deep between our dog’s toe! We keep returning with our cats and dogs ever since!
Thank you! You are the best!

I’m giving them a two star rating and not a one star because they did try to remedy the situation. Long story short… We bought a giant schnauzer puppy from a fantastic breeder. We decided to have his ears cropped by a very reputable vet near Fort Collins Colorado. He’s known as the best in the state. Our dogs ears came out fantastic!! After they cropped his ears they posted them. It was tight, well wrapped, clean and neat. It was done professionally.
Ear posting is equally important as the crop itself and there’s definitely one way to do it! The posting determines wether the ears will stand, flop or heal unevenly. In order to heal properly, routine bandage swaps and reposting is mandatory. Instead of driving out to Fort Collins to have this done, we searched locally.
When we called around, we talked with the lead veterinarian at Woodland Veterinarian Clinic. They said they definitely do postings for Giant Schnauzers. I was thrilled!! The lead did then asked if we were going to “show him” meaning were we going to have him compete in dog shows which we weren’t. We told him we weren’t and I thought nothing of it.
We brought our dog in for his first bandage swap and posting. They had me wait in the lobby and I paid the $130 bill.
I sat in the waiting room and they eventually brought out our boy and I was appalled! They loosely put backer in his ear canal and taped loosely, sloppily and uneven barely holding his ears up. His ears were tilted forward and they had apparently covered his ears in some sort of antiseptic made the tape not stick allowing the tape and backer to move and potentially slip off the ear entirely. He shook his head and attempted to scratch in obvious discomfort. I went out into my vehicle and called the vet that originally cropped and posted. Upon sending them pictures, the doctor said I needed to “bring him in immediately!”
I went back into Woodland Vet and asked to speak with the main Veterinarian. I explained to him my major concerns and her brought me to a side room. I explained what was done wrong and why the work done was very very poor and unprofessional. He then admitted to me that “he was not familiar with ear postings and that was why he asked if I was going to show my dog.” I was very very angry and felt like I was duped so he could make a little extra money at me and my dogs expense. To his credit, he did offer me a credit for services.
After this, I immediately jumped in my vehicle and drove roughly 4 hours to the Fort Collins location.
When I got there, they couldn’t believe what they saw. The Doctor said “whoever did this posting didn’t have a clue what they were doing.” After They posted our dogs ears the correct way I paid the $40 bill (1/3rd the cost of having it done incorrectly). We ended up posting the last 3 times needed to get his ears to stand correctly. I’m glad I knew what to look for otherwise our dogs ears would have been jacked for his entire life!
Below are the pictures of his ears they did. Looked like a 3rd grade art project!
