Anyone would be lucky to have Richard as a tutor. I was in one of his sections while he was on staff at the University of Texas at Austin. I have never had another TA since who was as helpful, knowledgeable, prepared, and well-versed in philosophy of religion as he was. There's not a doubt in my mind that the same is true for every subject he teaches. Honestly, getting to work with Richard during my first semester has "ruined" every class that has discussion sections after that one -- my standard for all my other TAs is now the way that Richard taught, and he sure did set the bar high.
