Went for rental assistance and was told the amount they can pay and the amount I needed to come up with. I been calling and leaving voicemails and my name sense Thursday. I spent 2 hours in a class and gave them paperwork. After a few days of being ignored and no return calls I decided to go to the office today. Was told they didn’t have no funds and was very rude this place is full of mess. I need to reach someone who’s over this or the organization that’s funding these people to tell them how they treating people.

I've never reached out for assistance and these woman literally had me leave in tears, we all struggle and asking for help is hard enough without making someone feel so small. I absolutely do not recommend

They are very rude. I was made to feel like I was just there for a handout and the money was coming from their pocket. The lady in the front was epically rude not only with me but several other clients. U shouldn't have to feel ashamed to ask for help, however these ladies act like they are above you .just remember EVERYONE needs help sometimes hope they don't and have to depend on me to give it to them

Wonderful people. I embarrassingly needed help with my power bill. Due to stress, I accidently messed up some of my paper work. The woman that helped was super understanding and they still helped me. If yall see this, thank you again. I was just about ready to give up.

Great organization, they helped me with a utility bill and it was a quick process. Workers are really nice and I'm very thankful for the help! I was also given a cleaning kit that had everything you would need to clean your home and a Covid-19 prevention kit.

I know my mom used to go there and it was like clockwork I'm disabled I'm trying to get in there to get help with my power bill I move my trailer 2 months ago I'm on disability I'm having a very hard time just making ends meet because I had to buy underpinning and do things I never should have been able to afford without the help of God and now that I went down there to get help they told everybody out there to be there on the 12th then they came to the door wouldn't let none of us in traded us like we were trying to break in and told us they didn't tell us that but all of us had the same story then they tell us we can only come on Tuesday or Thursday and leave our paperwork well I'm already a week late on my power bill so I had to take every dime I had to my name and pay the power bill and now I don't know how to survive for the rest of the month I don't have any money anything I really needed their help this month honestly and truly and I wouldn't have asked if I didn't and I saw people down there getting help that probably really didn't need it I think they ought to try to get their priorities straight and learn how to treat people and when and when you tell people something and you're running a business you ought to make that something gold

Where do I begin....... They have actually gone above and beyond in all areas of a business/client relationship, that they need way more than 5 stars, smiley faces or attaboys. The Customer service is impeccable. Robin is who I spoke with and the actual care and concern for your family, the needs of your family and see that you receive the assistance promptly is well above average as well. Very thorough group of people , work together as a team, never have been uncomfortable at any moment I was at community action or made me fell unwelcome. I could go on & on. I HIGHLY recommend (because it has unfortunately happened to most of us at one time or another) if you are struggling to make ends meet, reach out to.community action , ask for assistance on your energy bill. "LIHEAP" I believe is what the program is called. They will know what you need as long as you explain your situation and they will guide you through.
